Keyshia Cole may not just have a future as an R&B singer, she may be a mindreader.
How did she know “I Just Want It To Be Over” [watch it now] would be exactly what I was thinking while watching this video? I got a prediction for you too, girl! I see you on The Negro Channel at 3:30am in a few years! You'll either be talking with your psychic friends or shakin' it like a dog!

But speaking of playing, we’re going to be playing my NEW game all throughout this video called “Pick the already-famous R&B singer she looks like!”
As the video begins, the correct answer is “fake-ass Kelis.” But by the time she stands up and begins to sing, you should tackle it Jeopardy style: “What if Kelis and Mary J. Blige fused… and got a boob job?” That’s today’s daily double, people.
You could definitely take this video with you to psych class! After smashing a mirror, Keyshia is able to escape her room whose windows are bricked shut and doors are locked. If that wasn't strange enough, after her liberation, the next phase of the video finds her walking past a collective of thug-like dudes in wifebeaters (ironically). Ah yes, another ode to tired-ass brothers who mistreat their strong black sisters! Because of what’s going down in each of the doors she walks past (and does NOTHING), I don’t know if she’s in an apartment building, hotel, or Jason Kidd’s house.
By the end of the video, where she decides to break out into a live performance in this slough of despair (instead of calling the po-leese), she looks like Faith Evans. Actually, her laissez-faire approach to crime fighting, dyed red hair and breast implants the size of two midgets make her more like the black Linsday Lohan.
I just want to beat her and her party of punk asses with the mic stand and scream: “Stop partying! There’s mistreatment of women going on upstairs!”
Damn, Keyshia! No rappers on the remix? No Fabolous? 50 Cent? Gucci Mane? Nothin'?!
Watching and listening to this video, one should find that Keyshia Cole can actually sing. However, from the song title to the verses, it just becomes apparent that she has nothing to sing about. She’s quite possibly a song-writer and single stylist away from being a force in the already over-saturated world of R&B. Even after a video and single like this, A&M Records has a ways to go before they can make Heather Hunter’s little sister into a household name… Okay, I’m gonna stop now.

Believe it or not, I really don't have any jokes to crack (amazing!). I actually like this video. But I think you're a little off in what you said, I really don't see how she looks like Mary J., I was thinking more like a cross between Kelis, and Brandy, with Faith Evans' breasts and hair stylist, and J. Lo's ass.

The jokes about her appearance are unfortunately parodies that need to be made as her label and director are purposely trying to make her look like certain people. This is a common practice when promoting new artists. Likeness.
My posts contain a lot of inside and recurring jokes you would not know about if you just drop in to tell me that I'm an "IDIOT" in the poorest English possible. You also should read my reviews and not let the post-review comments by the readers sway your opinion about what is initially written.

My main criticisms of Keyshia's video had to do with imagery. The degredation and objectification of women in this video is rampant. Knowingly or not, Keyshia is helping to propagate such things in her video.
I'm sure there's more to Keyshia Cole than a set of large breasts. Unfortunately, for her sake, they are all she is putting on display in this video.

I'm from the Bay, she was born her and all that. But for the most party, she did the same thing any Bay Area artists that ever wants to not be local did.
Moved to LA.
She's on 106 & Park on The Negro Channel, looking nice barring the gap and her tendency to go floozy and flirt with anyone that shows up on the show BUT the one guy who wants her. hehe, just like Bay Area girls.
