Towards the end of my pregnancy, I started having complications and instead of him manning up and coming to stay with me and help, I had to go to my mom’s.

I was on bed rest for a good six weeks. It's so funny though - when you’re pregnant with some one’s child you are so connected to them. Some nights, I would literally get nauseous from feeling that he was with someone else. I didn't have hardcore proof at the time, but come on now. This dude ain't come to see me the whole time I was staying with my moms.

I went in to have my daughter on April 16th, 2002. They were hoping to induce me so she would come. I was in labor for a good 12 hours. Towards the end of my labor, I looked at the back of old boy's jeans when he stood up and I swear to goodness I saw the outline of a condom in his back pocket! I'm like WTF!

I said, “I know you didn't have that shit in your back pocket for me! So what, you were gonna celebrate the birth of my daughter by getting it on with another chick?”

Of course I made him take it out to confirm that it was a condom. After that came a barrage of "I'm sorry's" and "Let's start over, I love you!" To make it even worse I ended up having to have a C-section, which really sent me over the edge. I'm about to give birth to this nigga’s baby by getting cut the hell open and this dude's cheating on me!

Oh, but it gets worse!

After I had her, I stayed over at my mom's for about 2 weeks to recover. Of course we were "supposed” to be trying to get over his cheating ways. When I went home, this joker was living with another girl. He missed his first father's day because he was laid up with this chick. He lied about my daughter to the girl telling her that she was four months old when she was really about 3 - 4 weeks. I guess this is so she wouldn't be suspicious.

Needless to say I was too through and it's been too over!

Its a certain line you don't cross. The nigga is not a man. He wasn't their for you or his baby. He could have easily still did his creep thing and still been on your side while you was going through the things you were going through while pregnant with his baby.
He was wrong baby girl I'm sorry you had to go through that at such an emotional time. But niggas is niggas I'm one of them. I just know my priorities. My Pregnant girl would come before anything!!!!!

Sorry you had what was supposed to be such a happy experienced ruined by someone too young and immature to understand that his whole world has changed. Remember that your daughter is watching you and will learn by the example you set.

That is a very f*cked up situation, and he did you dirty but I left on stuck becuase there is not enough details. Was he already stepping out on you before you became pregnant, is that the reason for saying your child was 4 months. Maybe you were very hard to deal with during your pregnacy and he being young did not know how to handle it in the right way. Not making excuses for him, but this story is vague. All in all you moved on, sucks that a child is involved in all this like normal in ethnic families, broken before they even start. I know most people nowadays will not practice abstinence until marriage but lets atleast try to practice protecting or self and birth control before marriage. Its one thing to have your problems in a relationship but when children are involved those problems carry over to the next generation.

Whoah!!!! Lady, you have every reason to be mad at that lazy good for nothing NIGGA. But there is always CHILD SUPPORT, he is going to wish that he never did what he did. And worse you are having this BUM's child. I hope the child has a better future as well as you young lady. The loser is going to have to pay for the next 18 years, and If your daughter goes to college(I hope she does) 21 years. If he does not want to be involved in the child's life, just snuff his pockets since he has money to spend laying up with another chick.

I am soooo sorry you had to deal w/ this ish. But it is a lesson learned and he was obviously not someone to build a life and family with.

He didn't deserve to be a part of your life. But you sound like a woman who has realized that and moved on. If he'd like to be your daughters life great. However, don't force him to be a father he should be just be the best mom you can be - God will handle the rest - he always do.
