Cardan Wants To Unify Harlem Hip-Hop

15 Comments » April 17, 2006

cardan_250x125.jpgI'm in the pursuit of taking the lead in getting all the Harlem rappers together and putting it together like Atlanta. Just forming an alliance and getting everybody on the same page. Just being down for each other. Everybody just getting together and putting the ego's aside. Y'know where everybody supports everybody. I'm trying to take the lead for Harlem to support everything Harlem is about.

That's what hip-hop is all about. It's about people coming together. I've been sick and tired of hearing about rappers beefing with one another, sending hip-hop down the road that it wasn't supposed to. In order for things to change, we need more positivity in the game rather than negativity reigning supreme.

Peace.

Cardan! You are right, we need to bring the EAST BACK. I heard that Ghost Writer on your myspace, its fire! When can we get the LP?

Good luck 4real! The intersting thing about Harlem rappers is their EGO's. Between Cam, Mase, and Puff their is a tremendous amount of arrogance. I think if you get Puff on board 1st, you'll have a better shot.

We cant have peace til the niggaz get a piece. There will be no peace til the top dog eats.

Unification is a myth, because money is the ultimate segregator...rappers with clout and cheese aint gone wanna help someone who has nothing, unless they see it as an investment for themselves to gain something down the road.

the funny thing is that rap has now become a certifide and bonafide career plan or job option....hahahahaha! aint that some ish! everyday there is a new rapper, and they aint changing the game...they immitating what has already been done and said...these rappers that think they gonnna blow, aint! only a select few will blow and make it big. the rest will be relegated to working part-time to pay child support and rapping on the weekends at local spots.

Yo kid,
Follow ya dreams and ambitions. Hater dudes, marry hater women and have hater kids. I'm not from New York but you got my support. After you unite Harlem, I'll help you with the southeast.

Why just Harlem? Hip Hop as a whole need to come together. We are the ones who create this shit, but we dont own shit. There is a bigger picture here that we need to see. In a minute we gonna see the same way the east vs west coast battle took 2 of our greatest rappers, east vs south may very well do the same

Man look, the south is handlin' the game right now. North had their time and aint NOBODY hate. West had their time, aint NOBODY hate. Now it's our time and y'all got folks like GHOSTFACE washed up a$$ hatin cause he ain't hot. He wasnt neva hot down herre

I wish him luck but it aint gonna be easy. They (not just Harlem, but all of NY) need to unify. The south is doin' their thing right now and part of the reason is they aint all beefin' with each other. Yeah there was Flip vs. TI and 1 or 2 others but for the most part they all support each other and the fans down there actually BUY THE ARTISTS ALBUMS AND I AINT TALKING ABOUT BOOTLEGS. But on the real, ALL of hip hop need to unite...East Coast, Down South, West Coast, Midwest, etc. In the words of the God MC, "It aint where you're from, it's where you at".
