Before you dive into the legal ying-yang, let me break down the the important parts:
1. Send a story of how you take the lead to takethelead@sohh.com
2. Make the story at least 3 paragraphs, and focus on a specific event that shows how you take the lead.
3. Include a photo of yourself, attached in the email.
4. If you're in high school and your story is chosen, you are eligible to win a college scholarship worth up to $1000.

ELIGIBILITY: You must be thirteen (13) years of age or older as of March 16, 2006, and a resident of the continental United States to enter the Contest. Contest begins on or about March 16, 2006 at 12:00 AM Central Time ("CT") and ends April 16, 2006 at 12:00 AM CT (the "Contest Period"). Employees, directors and officers of SOHH.com ("Sponsor") or New Line Productions, Inc. ("New Line"), or their immediate family members, their respective parent, subsidiaries or affiliated companies, employees, immediate family members, licensees, advertising or promotional agencies, or Sponsor are not eligible to enter the Contest or win a prize. Void where prohibited or restricted.
TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. TO ENTER, VISIT SOHH.COM, READ THE OFFICIAL RULES AND SUBMIT AN EMAIL TO takethelead@sohh.com explaining how you take the lead in your community or life. Be sure to include your full name, city and state.). To enter by mail: Print your name, address, city, state, ZIP Code, age and SOHH.com screenname or e-mail address (if any), on a piece of paper along with your Submission, insert entry into an envelope with appropriate postage and mail to SOHH.com’s TAKE THE LEAD Contest, PO Box 374, Jersey City, NJ 07303. Write-in entries must be postmarked and received by no later than April 12 2006 in order to be considered valid. Only one entry per person and/or email address.
Entrants agree not to do any of the following while using the Website and/or posting their Submission thereto:
• harass, stalk or otherwise abuse another user;
• transmit or otherwise make available any content that is false, harmful, threatening, abusive, tortious, defamatory, libelous, disparaging (including disparaging of Sponsor and/or New Line), vulgar, obscene, pornographic or that promotes violence, racial hatred, terrorism or illegal acts, or is otherwise objectionable (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion);
• transmit or otherwise make available any content that is unlawful or infringes, violates or misappropriates any patent, trademark, trade identity right, trade secret, publicity right, privacy right, copyright or any other intellectual property or any other rights of any third party;
• upload or transmit viruses, Trojan horses or other harmful, disruptive or destructive files or post material that interferes with any third party's uninterrupted use and enjoyment of the Website.
• impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise disguise the origin of any content transmitted through the Website or to Sponsor, including forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any transmission to the Website for any reason;
• transmit or otherwise make available through the Website any personal advertising, junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes or offer for sale of any products or services, except in areas specifically designated for such purposes; or
• violate any applicable local, state, federal or international law, rule or regulation.
TO WIN: Provided a sufficient number of Submissions are received, four (4) participants will be selected by New Line [TBD] from among all eligible entries on or about April 24, 2006 based on the most admirable and compassionate examples of ways in which entrants have taken the lead in their community banner or life, as determined by New Line [TBD] in its sole discretion. Only one prize will be awarded per person and/or household. The winners’ names and Submissions may be displayed on the Website. PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize is available. The Grand Prize winner will receive a $1000 gift toward continuing their education, or entrepreneurship after high school. The approximate retail value ("ARV") of the Grand Prize is $1000. Three (3) First Prizes are available. Each First Prize winner will receive a $500 gift toward continuing their education, or entrepreneurship after high school. The ARV of each First Prize is $500. Sponsor will contact the winner via email and/or telephone using the contact information provided at the time of entry. Prizes must be claimed by April 24, 2006. Prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable and may not be exchanged. If any prize becomes unavailable for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value.
CONDITIONS: Acceptance of a prize constitutes winner’s permission for Sponsor and/or New Line to use winner's name, Submission, screenname, voice, photograph, likeness, biographical information, statements, address (city and state) and any other information provided on entry form, in any medium of communication, including print, Internet, radio and/or television and for any purpose, including advertising, promotional or other purposes worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without additional compensation. Sponsor is not obligated to distribute or exploit any Submission or, if commenced, to continue the distribution or exploitation of any Submission in any territory, and regardless of whether or not Sponsor elects to develop, produce, distribute and/or exploit a particular Submission (or to commence same), Sponsor may cease doing the same for any reason, with or without legal justification or excuse, and the applicable entrant shall not be entitled to any damages or other relief by reason thereof. Entrants (or if minors, their parents or legal guardians) agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, New Line, their respective parent companies and affiliates, and each of their respective employees, representatives, agents, contractors, assigns, sponsors, advertisers, officers, directors, shareholders and attorneys from any and all liability, loss, damage, injury (including death or bodily injury) cost, claim or expense of any kind resulting from participation in the Contest or any Contest-related activity, or from entrant's acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, illegible, or misdirected submissions that may occur during the entry or winner confirmation process. Failure of the potential winner to sign and return any requested documents within two weeks of delivery to potential winner's claimed address, or the return of prize documents or prize as undeliverable, may result in forfeiture of the applicable prize. The Winner assumes all applicable tax liability for the prize and for any other fees or costs associated with the prize. FURTHER DOCUMENTATION: If Sponsor shall desire to secure additional assignments for the Submission or other documents as Sponsor may reasonably require in order to effectuate the purposes and intents of these Official Rules, then each entrant agrees to sign the same upon Sponsor’s request therefor.
INTERNET: If for any reason, the Internet-related portion of this Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, tampering, fraud, unauthorized intervention, technical failure, or any other cause which corrupts or threatens the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the Contest or any portion of the Contest. ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE CONTEST. Information submitted, including entrant’s name, address, e-mail address, etc., may be used by Sponsor for marketing, promotional or other purposes. These Contest rules shall be governed and enforced pursuant to Illinois law.
CONDUCT: By entering this Contest, participants agree to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor which shall be final and binding in all respects. The Official Rules will be posted on the Website throughout the Contest Period. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest sites, to be acting in violation of the Official Rules, or to be acting in a disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY INTERNET SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS.
