I mean, REALLY LOOK at these pictures. These dudes aren’t only flying … they’re floating.
And to think there were actually whispers about THIS U.S. team not being able to get the job done after their slim victory over Australia.
Nah, b … this squad is built to win.
LET THE 31-POINT SMACKDOWN OVER CHINA BE A WARNING: REPEAT AFTER ME THERE’S ONLY ONE RULE – THEY WILL NOT LOSE.
What’s ill about this team is every game is sort of a competition between D. Wade, Kobe and LeBron. That’s reminiscent of the comp between Jordan, Bird and Magic (sort of at least) on the Dream Team. But the difference is these cats are younger. Don’t forget the Dream Team saw Jordan in his prime, but was sort of Bird and Magic’s farewell to the game, period.
Kobe’s definitely in his prime, LeBron (scary to say) hasn’t hit his prime yet and we’ll see if D. Wade already reached his peak this coming 2008-09 season.
SOHH just the convo has me thinking … which trio would you rather have – Magic, Bird and Jordan from the Dream Team or Kobe, LeBron and D. Wade from the Redeem Team? Holla at me, maaaan!
