The homie Ron Artest was traded yesterday from the Sacramento Kings to the Houston Rockets for Bobby Jackson, a No. 1 draft pick next season and rookie forward Donte' Green. Wow. Ron Ron and  T-Mac. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

Other than Elton Brand heading to Philly and Baron Davis leaving Golden State, this Artest trade has to be the biggest news in the offseason thus far.

I mean think how nasty Houston is going to be DEFENSIVELY. They’ll have a healthy Yao Ming at center, Tracy McGrady and now Artest shutting dudes down left and right. All you Western Conference guards/forwards take notice - T-Mac and Artest on a team together is going to be a problem.

That move makes Houston a legit contender to get out the first round of the West, at the least, I think. I mean, San Antonio refuses to get any younger and Utah has been rather quiet this offseason.

And anyone in Houston’s way, Artest could always snuff them. That’s Queensbridge, homie!

Artest

WHAT DO YA’LL THINK ABOUT THIS TRADE? HOW MUCH BETTER DOES ARTEST MAKE THE ROCKETS? HOLLA AT ME, MAAAAN!
