The Lakers came close to coming back from 24 down in Game 2, but the Celtics actually did it in Game 4 last night.

As much fun as this year's NBA Playoffs have been to watch, there is one thing about them that I am looking forward to most: getting Kobe Bryant off my TV screen. Granted, #24 is without question one of the greatest players of all time, but that speaks nothing about his character, on-court or off.
This is a guy who is basically given a pardon by all of his fans for being a selfish-ass clown who only thinks of himself because he's so nasty on the floor. But a closer look at Bryant's personality shows not only a cocky muthafucka (those are the most fun players to watch lose), but also a terrible leader. When things are going great, everyone on his team is his best friend, but let a lull in the Lakers play happen and he's pointing the finger at everyone in yellow, as if he has nothing to do with what's going on.
Kobe, that was YOU who was being frustrated by Paul Pierce all second half long in Game 4. That was YOU who threw that runner brick off the side of the backboard in the 4th quarter of a Finals game while your teammates all watched helplessly, hoping you would dish.
Fun Fact: the Lakers were up 17 at the half and Kobe hadn't made a basket. Fun Fact #2: Kobe tries to be God in the second half, and the squad goes belly-up. Well, all the fancy dribbling and missed fadeaways in the world probably won't help the MVP now. Although, I don't see how someone can be MVP when the team does worse when he starts ego trippin'.
Maybe the Lakers should give more clout to their best TEAM player, Lamar Odom. Shaq shoulda smacked the shit out of KB when Kobe was tryin' to deflect the attention he was getting from his rape case/infedelity by snitchin' on his boys. I wonder if he'll throw his whole team under the bus on Youtube again this summer. After all, they're failing him, right?

The C's played with Heart, I wondered if they would b able to do that...and they did, in a major way..... in my opinion the lakers choked but only because the The Celts had their hands around their necks. Also I noticed in the first half that the lakers were too happy, laughin and jokin, chest bumpin and shyt, all signs of a young team, The Leader should have pulled his team to the side and demanded focus and respect for the opponet...but what really pizzed me off was ABC doing sideline interviews with Celebs(aka fairweather fans) and just from the tone of how the game was called you can tell that van gundy and jackson want the lakers to win, its to the point I watch the games w/ the volume turnd down... too many superlatives towards the lakeshow but when the C's come back they dont call it w/ the same excitement...They need to get some cats that are better at calling the game down the middle... No matter what happens with the rest of this series this was one of the best games i've seen(at least the 2nd half)... If the Lakers lose this series(which they should) I hope they dont break the team up, I would like to see how they learn from this heartbreak. Even though he won't admit it Kobe wants to be better than Mike, This is how he has to do it, he need to go through some real on the court hearbreak and come back even stronger, remeber how many times Mike got bounced from the playoffs before he actually learned how to play team ball and be a true team leader...Kobe has to go through the same and learn how to be a "true" team leader and not just a leader in name only!
