Bulls Select Derrick Rose With No. 1 Pick - A

Thank God da Bulls didn't f**k this one up. It was a no brainer. D. Rose is SOHH Chi that you thought he was bashful. We knew he was the No. 1 pick and Chi-town confirmed it. Ditto for Miami and Michael Beasley. I told y'all Pat Riley was using O.J. Mayo's name to f**k with other teams.

Beside the obvious I also really liked what the Nets and Blazers did. Before the Draft even began, the Nets shipped away Richard Jefferson to Milwaukee for Yi Jianlin aka Huge Asian dude not named Yao and Bobby Simmons earlier today. Now you may be thinking why, but nah, it was smart.

They unloaded on RJ's contract to make room for going after LeBron in 2010. The Pacers did a good job unloading on Jermaine O'Neal's contract too. Then they added 7-footer Roy Hibbert via the Draft. J.O. is still good, but was due over $20 mil this next season alone and more in 2009-10. SMH. Ca$h flow! Remember it's not just King James that will be a free agent in two years. Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade too.

But back to Jerz, they also addressed size by drafting Brook Lopez. Not bad. Now all they need to do is move to Brooklyn already and change their name to the Bridge. Get it? Brooklyn Bridge.

I liked what the Blazers did too, drafting Brandon Rush and then trading him for sharpshooter Jerryd Bayless. And they had yo boy Bayless answering questions about being honored that Larry Bird picked him first for the Pacers. If it weren't for his clean image, Bayless woulda said 'F Bird' after the trade. But pair Bayless with Brandon Roy in the Just Blaaaazers' backcourt, and LaMarcus Aldridge, Outlaw and Greg Oden, who could be Rookie of the Year, in the front, and Portland got a nice lil squad out West. They're making the playoffs, watch.

Props to Seattle for recognizing Russell Westbrook's talent too and being Ballsy enough to cop his services at No. 4.

Moving on from the good to downright questionable - you guessed it, the Knicks. Who else but them to draft a European cat!? You would have thought they learned their lesson with Frederic Weis, who they told don't bother after this:

I can't even give the Knicks a letter grade. I mean, all we know about any European player is they're usually soft on D. SOHH I give the Knicks a ?. This dude Danilo Gallinari sounds like an Italian Borat though and Knicks fans already hate him.

He's 19, but has played against men in Italy. Let's see what he can do, but damn ... Eric Gordon, D.J. Augustin or Bayless all sounded better to me. What NY really needed was Mayo, SOHH they could lobby for LeBron, but wamp wamp again NYC.

Aight, finally and I'm gonna try to keep this last one short ... Minnesota F**ked up royally! They draft Mayo at No. 3 and then trade him to Memphis for Kevin Love in an eight-player deal. No disrespect to K. Love, but Mayo is gonna be an All-Star some day and Love won't, maybe ever. SMH. The Timberwolves did Mayo, derrty, having him wear the cap and all and then trading him. No wonder KG left Siberia. How can Minny treat a dude in glasses like that. Excuse me, spectacles. mayo.jpg

Mayo's a star!

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS ON THE DRAFT!? WHO WALKED AWAY WINNERS? WHO F**KED UP!? HOLLA AT ME, MAAAAN!
