There is nothing to get excited over, if your a Lakers fan. They are playing like shit. The Celts have some concerns as well, (no Perk, less than 100% Rondo) but it's more with injuries, than lack luster play from your starters. No one picked the Celts to win game 5 anyway. ( if you're saying you did, you're straight up lying.....these are the Lakers after all) The game meant far more to them. This series isn't over, but it's about as close to being over as you will get. The Lakers will lose this series in Boston. Game 7 or not.

I'm just curious, when a team loses a close-out game, what happens to the champagne? Because once you put bubbly on ice & let it get warm again its no good. I understand it's Kobe and all, but that doesn't excuse the lack luster play of the entire team. I'm not sure he's the biggest problem on that team. It's that Euro pussy everyone thought was going to be the saving grace for the Lakers in this series. Yes Pau Gasol. I won't go as far as to say that he's terrible, but I'm pretty sure some people would have liked him to stay in Memphis if he wasn't going to show up now. His play is inconsistant at best. I agree we NEED for Perkins to return, but I think he'll be wearing a suit on Tuesday night. I just don't see him coming back. It would be more of a hinderance then anything having him out there at 60 to 70%. You know how hard he goes at it in the paint,(pause) and a 70% Perkins is not needed.
