Since most of the week is going to be dominated by NBA Draft talk here in SOHH Sports and baseball isn't even 100 games deep yet, I thought today would be a perfect day to rap about all the chicanery going on in the sports world.
Pacman Jones. Ya know the suspended Dallas Cowboys corner, who has been linked to that Las Vegas strip club shooting a minute ago and allegedly all different kinds of buffoonery. Just the mention makes you want to shake your head, right?
Well, you ain't going to believe this! Dude tells the Associated Press yesterday that he doesn't want to be called 'Pacman' any more! He wants peeps to call him Adam Jones, the gov't his mama gave him.
"There's really just a lot of negativity behind it," Jones told the AP. "It's just time for a change, man. I'm doing everything to make sure that I'm all right as a person, mentally and emotionally."
Maan, I thought name changes were reserved for this guy (Take that, take that, eh eh, eh eh)
But anyway, I don't know if Adam Jones realizes that when you're known for trouble like he is and have a nickname ... its' damn-near impossible to get away from it. Maybe T.O. can explain it to Puff Pacman, Pacman Pop ... y'all get the point.
Moving on.. by now y'all know all about the back and forth between Soulja Boy and Ice T. No matter, who disrespected who, these kids today are some bad mothaf**kas!
Case in point, take Pele, the greatest soccer player in the world.
Well some punk ass kids did him DIRTY in Brazil, robbing him at gunpoint on June 13 (news was made public yesterday).
The gang of 10 stuck Pele for his gold chain, watch and cell, get this, while he was in traffic. Brazil's hood, homie!
These young cats are reckless, ain't they!?
Switching gears to the WNBA (bear with me, homes) ... Candace Parker dunked yesterday. (She also dunked in college games).

The only way people would watch the WNBA is if we the viewers had an all access pass to the locker room after games, for some one on one action....lol I'd watch a game or two, but only to see them strut around topless for the post game interviews!
