It's official - Kobe Bryant aka the best player on the planet has won his first MVP award. SOHH much for thinking that the award was going to be a close race between KB24 and Chris Paul ... Kobe ran away with it.
Bryant received 82 first-place votes and 1,100 points in the media vote to Paul's 28 first-place votes and 894 points. Not as close as we all expected. Peep Kobe accepting his first MVP award. Dude also said he wants to be a Laker for life.
Definite congrats out to Kobe. Dude trusts his teammates and they trust him. He deserves it. Moving on, I couldn't believe how LeBron James played last night.
I mean 2-for-18 for 12 points and 10 turnovers. Horrible. And with all that, King James still had a chance late to keep the Cavs in it, but missed a layup ... much like your man Patrick Ewing did against the Pacers back in the day. THEY BOTH SHOULD HAVE DUNKED THAT BALL! Anyway, LeBron ain't having another game like that this series. How long is this series going?
Finally, Charles Barkley ain't one to ever bite his tongue. Here, he talks about the secret of being a shorter player and having to defend a taller forward or even center. Barkley said it's all about the "ass." Ha! You gotta love Sir Charles.
It was all about "my butt - which is huge."

It was long over due but finally KB24 has won the MVP award. Lebron had a terrible game but he will bounce back in game 2. The Celtics got real lucky in that game.

Them TNT dudes is aiight in my book, they bringin fun back to NBA sportscasting......
they dont come off generic with their vibe, they dont come off corny with the lines.... their recognition of Jay-Z's PSA, and taunts of one's lack of Jay-Z knowledge was funny....
They dug into D.Wade's grill about the Star Jones thing when he was there.......
them dudes is ok, Barkley's constant "suspect" referencing comes at random but still humorous to the point it's not disturbing.
Stevenson was right about dude being overrated, and i was right about nobody thinkin he was really "that dude" beyond those who bought into the hype machine with an open mouth and deep throat, which was evident by the "1" vote......
so yeah CP3 got slaughtered in vote counts, but at least he was in 2nd place........ and besides he helpin make San Antonio look like a toilet bowl right now......
