With no playoff games on schedule tonight, your boy Ballsy wants to reflect on the experiments that didn't work - I'm talking Shaq with Phoenix and Jason Kidd with Dallas.
Maan, did those two cats look old in those series.
I mean look at the way, Tim Duncan took advantage when Shaq - breathing all heavy - was on the bench with foul trouble. Then peep how Shaq has no luck with Duncan either at about the 1:00 mark.
And don't get me started on Kidd. You know Byron Scott loved watching his point guard Chris Paul take Kidd (Scott's old point guard and the man that stabbed him in the back) anywhere he wanted to go on the court.
Just watch the first :16 of this clip and you'll be good. Where were you at Kidd!?
SOHH I ask: BEING THAT THE EXPERIMENTS DIDN'T WORK, SHOULD PHOENIX AND DALLAS JUST BLOW UP THEIR SQUADS AND START HEAVY REBUILDING!?
SHOULD SHAQ RETIRE?
And ... ARE THE MAVS WRONG FOR FIRING AVERY JOHNSON SOHH QUICK!?
I feel like Mark Cuban really played Avery. After losing on Tuesday night, Avery was saying he and Cuban were going to talk things over. Well, Cuban didn't need to. Done. What do y'all think? Holla at me, maaaan!
Shout out to Caron Butler. Thats UCONN all day. (He traveled too).
Shaq isn't done. They need him for a whole season. The Suns should of won a chip 2 years ago. Coach D'Antoni is done. Never liked him. Put Phil Jackson on the bench and thats a couple more rings.
TD and the Spurs do there thing. Modern Day Chicago Bulls.
@ Ballsy
I Couldnt Disagree With You Any More, Old?Yes But Shaq Is Still A Force In The League
He's No Longer The Top Big Man, He's Still Better Then 89% Of The Big Man In The L..
And What Game Were U Watch That TD ( which ive said b4 is the best PF to do it)
Dominate Over Shaq, Oh When He Was On The Bench?, TD Is Gonna Get His Regardless If The Presence In The Paint Is Resting..
The Only Reason The Suns Lost Is Plain And Simple BORRIS DIAW, That Nigga Had The MisMatch Match Up All Series And Couldnt Make a Post Up Hook or FadeAway -over a 6'3 defender- To Save His Life. That Nigga Should Have Been The L Deng ( When The Chicago Beat The Heat In Their Lil 2 yr Prime) Of This Series... He Went From An X Factor To A NonFactor Ass Nigga..
Damn Did Yall Even Watch The Game?
If PimpC Was Still Alive And Watch These Games he'd say
"Diaw Take That Monkey SUNS Jersey OFF...You Embrassssssiinnnng US,HUUUHH!"
Steve Trash is Suns problem they never won a championsship with him and never will. He can't guard anybody and didn't show up offensively, only thing he has. He still shook from Rajon Rondo highlight. All point guards have career nights against him. That's why Suns always trying to switch matchups on D for him. Just try and build team around Stat and make the most of what Shaq has left.
Mark Cuban had Avery Johnson fired, but it isn't his fault. The Mavs are softer than Twinkie filling, you seen when David West put his hands in Nowitski's face. It couldn't have been me chief, lol. Jason Kidd couldn't guard a street light, let alone CP3. Josh Howard gets 2 smoke his Purple and Shaq in Phoenix will work. It's just that the Suns play no D and Steve Nash is a defensive liability like Jason Kidd. Word Shawn Marion was gonna opt out anyway at the end of the season, so why not trade 4 Shaq. Phoenix or Dallas is not better than New Orleans, Utah, Orlando, Cleveland, Boston, or the lakers 4 that instance. Shout out 2 Caron Butler 4 bringing the series back 2 D.C., but you'll are outta here in Game 6. Lebron ain't playing wit yall niggaz, lol.

Wow, now dat Avery is gone...tings is gon be simple in Dallas!
shaq needs to retire!hes no longer the dominant player he was and he didnt help the suns!kidd is a beast in the east but made the mistake of going to the west paul destroyed him
SPURS JUS GET IT DONE THEY GOT THE BEST INSIDE OUTSIDE GAME N BIG SHOT ROB
WWW.MYSPACE.COM/THAGRINDAHOLIC
15K+ PLAYS N STILL GRINDIN
now why should shaq retire and why didn't the trade work b/c they didn't go pass the 1st round or is b/c they didn't win the champinship....without shaq the suns have lost the spurs so the suns were just keeping with tradition......shaq has another 2 years or so
Shaq has one more year in him at least...and they just need a little longer to mesh together. I agree that Steve crumbled under the pressure though...he was pissing me off missing all kinds of shots and then turning it over 2 times, even though I don' t think the ball that Bowen hit went off his leg. As far the Spurs being great...they are good yes and Duncan is good but they abuse rules and their style of play (Manu) is ruining the NBA. They make every touch foul look like they were trucked! It makes me sick to watch them and the NBA needs to do something before we have a whole league of actors. Watch a college game...there aren't half as many fouls and they let them play. The problem may be that they need to stop the game and inflate scores so they can have the 30PPG averages and 100Pt games...Maybe Jordan did destroy the game...they have been constantly trying to replace him and maybe the only way they can is to juke the stats.
Shaq isnt done, he aint man of steel no more either, but the man still frees up Amare, really bothers the oposing bigs, grabs boards and alters shots. Overpaid? Hell yeah, but he shouldnt retire.
What the Suns need to do is really play like the Spurs, what that means is make Nash the 6th man. He's such a liability on defense, it doesn't make sens to start every game off weak, they cant defend the Parkers, Paul's, DWilliams, etc, etc. There's at least 10 teams that have point guards that can humiliate Nash, even Cassell drops 30s on him.
The game plan needs to be tweaked a lil bit, they need to get a point guard who can defend, and Nash would be most effective as a mentor and 6th man offensive brigade. As a Starter in this league, at this stage of his career, he is hurting the Suns. As a bogus 2 time MVP, he is proving my point as to why it was a consipiracy. Maybe one, but not two.
How the hell you gonna give somebody MVP when there's 10 guys in the league that dog him everytime they play? Bullshit racism...
.
.
Anyways, make Nash the 6th, pick up a real PG, and Shaq will pay dividends. Oh, change the coach to one who makes proper adjustments during the second season.
'With no playoff games on schedule tonight [...]' ... YEA THERE'Z A GAME TONIGHT!!!!...
mavs in trouble but the team was tunning out avery it was time for him to go ....we need to reload and rebuild and get an elton brand or a jermaine o neal and maybe a carmelo anthony in here because this squad is not gonna get tha job done and we r stuck wit kidd fo at least another yr....and who cares bout da suns at least we got past the hump(spurs) and went to the finals
Mark Cuban is the Mavs problems. The man knows nothing about putting a team together. Getting rid of your match up problems for all other teams, and then firing a great coach proves Cuban needs to go. Shaq is the most skill-less player ever, most un motivated, and most stupid player of all time, he will never win again, so go sit on his fat a$$ as usual, and make bold statements that dont hold true.. Shaq is over.
the fact that mark cuban is keeping Dirk, shows that he is a horrible owner. Phoenix had a chance.. before they traded for the fat, skill-less, un motivated a$$ in Shaq... Shaq turned miami into a city that doesnt practice, doesnt eat right, doesnt hold commitments, doesnt play full game, and turned the whole team into a bunch of scrubs.. shaq will do the same in Phoenix.
Real talk... Shaq isnt done but he is getting there. You keep a shaq soley to help amare grow. They (suns) need to focus on more athletes and all around players instead of just shooters. D'antoni needs to leave there cause kerr is trying to transform that team into a 35 and older squad
Dallas is and always will be hopeless. They had a chance 4 years ago to get shaq in his prime for dirk and josh howard. Bet they wish they did that. They play no D and their 7 foot leader has no post moves. Avery is gonna go to chicago and have the baby bulls rolling.
We rolling down crenshaw with the laker flags flying out here in Cilla Cali!
Cpt!
Shout out to ballsy. You stay talkin bout basketball, unlike other sites that be on that baseball bull.....
Best of this generation ... Since 2000
1. Tim Duncan
2. Shaquille ONeal
3. Kobe Bryant
4. Lebron James
5. Allen Iverson
6. Kevin Garnett
7. Jason Kidd
Kidd and ONeal are among the best that have ever played ... lets appreciate what they have done over the years.
Shaq got at least 1 more year in him and he's still one of the more dominant big men. I believe they'll be better next year, as will the Mavericks with an off-season of Jason Kidd....I don't think either team should "explode" the roster but definitely a couple trades need to be made. And I hope Avery comes to the KNICKS!
