KG hates to lose and proved it last night, bouncing back from Game 4's L to lead the C's to a Game 5 win. The final line on Garnett: 26 points, 16 rebounds. Wow. Paul Pierce scored a team-high 29 points to help put King James' 35 points to waste.
Now, as long as LeBron's mama doesn't snuff Pierce and KG like she came close to the other night, I think the C's are going to move on.
My question to y'all is: AFTER REACHING THE CONFERENCE FINALS BEFORE AND WITH A MEAN DETROIT TEAM WAITING, CAN THIS FINALLY BE THE YEAR KEVIN GARNETT MAKES THE FINALS!?
I think it's possible, but the C's HAVE TO WIN ON THE ROAD! If they end the Cavs series with a road win, it will go a long way - confidence-wise - heading into the Conference Finals with Detroit.
