Nothing has come easy for the Celtics during the playoffs. I mean, Hawks seven games, Cavs seven games and don't be surprised if the Pistons force a Game 7 too.

Last night, it was Ray Allen, who finally woke up and began shooting the way the C's were accustomed to all season. Ray Ray went off for 29 points, but watching him, I still got to ask:

Still, when comparing Ray to the greatest shooters of our time ... he's lacking that toughness. I mean, Reggie Miller had it. He would talk ish all the time and then back it up.
The reason I bring it up is it looks like the C's are heading to the Finals. There, Ray's toughness is going to be measured by Kobe Bryant ... the pound for pound toughest S.O.B. in the L.

In the second meeting again Garnett a triple double, Ray and Paul had decent games and they blew them out by 19 in that game with no help from the bench might I add. So all of you Laker fans that have pretty much claimed the Larry O'brien trophy might not want to smudge it with your finger prints just yet. There are still three other teams vying for it also. I live near Boston. I've watched most of their games this year. Before this, I probably hadn't seen 15 minutes of Ray in the last 5 or 6 years. Yes. He is soft. Also very talented. But soft. Even the way he drives is soft. He never takes it hard to anything. He seems to value being smooth & lookin good over getting the points. But talented. Speaking of soft in Boston. L.
