The Suns beat the Spurs like they stole something from 'em in San Antonio last night.
Usually I just brush off any regular season Suns win, but a few things from last night's victory stand out:
For starters, the game was in San Antonio, not Phoenix.
Secondly, the Suns were playing the second game of a back-to-back. Usually teams are sluggish in that second game of a back-to-back.
Finally, all of the Suns came through, when the squad needed it most. Amare Stoudemire scored a team-high 21 points, Shaq had eight of his 16 points in the fourth and Steve 'Short to the Point' Nash finished with 12 (eight in the final quarter) and 10 assists. Three more Suns finished with double-digit scoring too.
Here's what the Diesel told the AP about playing through his right hip contusion:
"I played through everything. I told them that if they play me single coverage, let me make them pay. I'm still the baddest 36-year-old ever created."

The Suns can only make a playoff run only if they played like how they played last night. They showed what a complete team effort was bcus 6 of their players scored in double digit figures. I think they can beat N.O, Dallas, Houston, Denver/GS. The only teams that they would have problems and may lost to are the Lakers and Spurs.
