I was impressed when I saw it the first time, but then when I replayed it I noticed that the car is to Kobe's right(further away from the camera then Kobe) when he jumps. I guess synchronizing it takes skill, its the sort of thing stuntmen get paid to do.

Thus meaning the lakers and the NBA are much more lenient with restrictions on Kobe's contract.
