Ya know it's funny the way things work out. Just last week we were all talking that Jim Jones' Uptown slick talk about the Phoenix Suns and well, look at what Steve Nash, Amare and Shaq Diesel give us on Sunday - a big 'W' over the defending champion Spurs. And to think, just last week all of us were writing the Suns off.

With the win, the Suns moved ahead of the Dallas Mavericks for the sixth seed in the playoffs. Ayo it's a regular season win and nothing to get crazy about, but right now squads are playing for playoff position.
Don't think that moving up a seed in the West ain't important, homie! If the playoffs were to start now, the Suns would meet Houston in the first round. Yes the Rockets are blasting off - 18th straight win Saturday night - but the Suns can beat those boys. At least I think they can.
All I know is come playoff time ... nobody is herbing the Suns like Rob Horry did Nash last year. Remember this?
Shaq ain't letting sh*t like that go down with his point guard. Y'all see the elbow Shaq accidentally threw at a fan, while going for a loose ball? Diesel told the Associated Press:
"I think I hit one guy," he said. "I tried to miss the kids."

Shaq's presence even got Nash talking gully to the AP:
"There's a lot of teams with size in the West," Nash said. "We added size, let alone a guy with championship experience. One win isn't going to say we're a finished product, but we're on our way, I think, to improving and getting to a place where we're going to feel confident once the playoffs come around."
Aight, Nash. SOHH after beating the Spurs, do you like the Suns more? Will they definitely get out the first round!?
On a sidenote ... Muhammad Ali, who was courtside at the game in Phoenix, got a standing O from the Suns' crowd. That's still and always will be a BAAAAAAD MAN!

Happy i accurately predicted UNC would win...aside from that run in the 2nd half they were dominating them too.....The Suns looked good down the stretch against the Spurs..They need to keep the defensive pressure up but really, the whole Shaq trade is for the PLAYOFFS! And we know that's when Shaq turns it up so this period now is just fine tuning and adjusting. Won't be surprised if we get a Suns vs. Lakers West Finals (Kobe/Shaq reunion)...
