They made 'em pay by making a mockery of the Bowl by putting up an all-time Rose Bowl-high 633 yards in its 49-17 rout of the Fighting Illini. Ouch. 633 yards. That's serious right there. Stanford is a solid team - all this shit about Stanford being weak is crazy - STANFORD HAS BEEN USC'S NUMBER ONE rival for over 80 years - Standford will always get up for USC and the game will be competitve no matter the records. USC beat Auburn twice by an average score of 20 and Arkansas by 40. USC beat VT in its own backyard.
IF IT WAS NOT FOR USC THE SEC WOULD EVEN HAVE ANY BLACK PLAYERS - We have been whopping the SEC's ass for a long time - Yall just started have black players since 1970.

I would love to see USC play Lsu or Ohio state right now. It would be a good game. Ya we lost to Stanford but i Booty was hurt and cont to play and thre 4 interceptions. With Vidal and David Ashburry comming back receiving core will be back to how we are used to (Dwayne Jarret, Mikle williams). Plus Rey and B Cush are comming back along with all of the secondrary except i think terell thomas but his back up is supposed to be amazing (ya only a freshman). Truthfully I HATE USC but I've known for weeks they're one of the best teams in the country...I really think they need a playoff system b/c without question USC would be fighting in there, I don't know if they're the BEST right now but they're definitely one of the top 4 teams....They'll probably finish #2 in the final polls. USC is the most overrated team in the country, all of their players are over rated, just plain overrated.
They played the 5th best team in the Big 10(OSU, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Penn State are all better than Illinios) who was playing in their first bowl game in six years. They was supposed to smash them scrubs. But USC lost twice playing a weak conference, how can say that they the best team when OSU only lost once?
Just wait till next year when OSU smashes USC then you will see.

USC is a great team but if you come out of the SEC with just 2 losses you are lucky. Why should the SEC schedule non conference games with Michigan or USC when they have to go out and play 5 or 6 teams that are ranked in the top 25 - the SEC sent 9 teams to bowls and had 10 teams that were eligible to go bowling - USC is a great team but I would put my money in UGA to devour them. And let's not forget that Auburn got shafted 3 seasons ago when they went throught the SEC undefeated. USC didn't want no parts of Ronnie Brown, Cadilac, Jason Campbell, Jr RoseGreen, Carlos Rogers, Kevin Sears or any of that roster! They got off by playing Oklahoma - who were a good team but not SEC caliber. The SEC is not as good as it used to be but that is hard nose smash mouht football conference.
