The last time the New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets met on the Garden floor, it looked like the damn Wu Tang Clan was scrapping.
If y'all remember that night (Dec. 16, 2006), the whole fiasco started when Knicks' bench player (always a scrub that starts a brawl) Mardy Collins tackled J.R. Smith by the neck. Then Nate Robinson - who suffers from little big man complex and could pass for a disgruntled mini 50 - jumped in to get Smith, only for Carmelo Anthony to snuff Collins with a quick cross to the mouth.
Anthony got a 15-game suspension because of the punch, as a total of seven players got suspended.
Last night at the Garden, though, there were no punches thrown, but there was blood. It happened when Stephon Marbury drove past Allen Iverson, but Marbury clipped him just enough on his way to the hoop to leave A.I. with a bloody lip. He left the court for a minute, but came right back.
What's crazy is I remember a time years ago when A.I. and Steph were actually compared to each other. Maan, was that comparison premature. A.I. has proven himself to be an offensive and defensive threat. Steph...has gone on to be a cancer, but he love the kids, making his Starbury kicks $15.
Still, back to the game, the Answer's 32 points weren't enough. Zach Randolph finished with a monster double-double - 22 points and 17 boards - and Jamal Crawford added 25 points of his own, as the Knicks won, 119-112.
People questioned whether Randolph would co-exist with Eddy Curry in the Knicks' frontcourt, but so far they're working well together.
SOHH, it's early, but I ask y'all this: Can the Knicks make the playoffs?
Your Boy,
SOHH Ballsy
Yea, that was crazy. I thought A.I. was going to go crazy when he saw his own blood. But yea, the Knicks can make the playoffs. The East is that bad, killa.

The knocks are at top 4 seed in the east and a good trade could make them the best. They have the talent. Balkman is going to make lee expendable. They should be able to get Artest for Lee and Robinson.
I was at the game yesterday, and yes the Knicks can make the playoffs, if they play some DEFENSE.
The Knicks have one of the most talented teams in the NBA from top to bottom. The only thing that holds them back is chemistry and defense. They don't play any damn defense, too many times Denver either had uncontested lay ups or wide open 3pters. They need to play hard for 48 minutes like the playoffs are on the line, I know it's hard for a team to keep that focus for 82 games but the good teams can do it.
If the Knicks want to be a good team that is what they are going to have to do.
Also I got to disagree with you about Steph, I don't see how you can say he's a cancer. He doesn't trash his teammates to the media, he plays a team game, and he's respected by his teammates. I think he's reputation as a gun is not deserved either, he 9 assist and at times he too unselfish, it's like he can't win for losing. If he shoots too much then he's a gun, if he passes then he's not being agressive enough and he's a bum.
Curry and Randolph are the best 4 & 5 combo in the East. Both guys can get you 20 and 10 on any given night and they cause matchup problems for opposing defenses because they don't know who to double team.
Isaiah deserves some props for the team he's put together, especially if you remember that shitty squad he had when he took over for Frank Layden.
The Knicks should win around 40-47 games this year and get either a 7-8 seed in the East. The lack of defense and just plain ol hustle will keep them from being an elite team this year. But like them slim ass cigarettes from Virginia they've come a long way, baby!
Anonymous is right, the Knicks are one trade from being a great team but I don't know if I would give up Lee. Balkman I could see leaving but not Lee. Steph might be the guy to let loose for another point guard. One that could play defense.
DONT, DONT, DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE...
Knicks will eventually choke, and will probably trade for Joe Smith from the Bulls for their 1st, 2nd and 3rd pick for next year.
Shout to my man Flava Flav...yeah boyyy! We in the house, house, house!
Yea, We MAJOR this yr 4sure... the game last nit3 was balanced. We have a quad that can compete with the addition of Zach Ran; I think we're in the playoff by the end of the season as a 3 or 4 seed in East overall..... Knicks!
The newest tracks display Cam creativity. Appollo 2nit3 a 10pm... get ur copies. Harlem/ Diplomats
the Knicks are garbage. Yall spend so much money on them ego players, you cant put a decent 5 on the floor. Thats why the raptors won the division last year and why the celtics are gonna kill it this year..they move as a unit. as long as you got maurberry, yall aint goin Nowhere!
No, The Knicks suck...it's all about BOSTON...The Red Sox, The Patriots, and The Celts. All New York had was baseball and they dont even have that no more. I introduce you to the city of champions a.k.a. Boston!
The Knicks have a shit load of offense, I mean Steph, Crawford, Richardson, Randolph, Curry, they can all put up 20 a night.
.
.
They need to balance their Offense with some D. Balkman locked up Melo pretty nice, and Lee is an animal.
.
.
I think they need to trade Q.Richardson for a defensive/shot blocking center. They can implement Balkman into the starting 5 and then have two back up bigs who can complement the starters. When Curry is on the court, he needs Charles Oakley type of player. When Randolph is in, you need to put in a shot blocking center.
