With all the promo flurry over Electrik Red dropping their debut album How To Be A Lady today I almost forgot about the other fearsome foursome waiting to come out -- producer Rich Harrison's dream girl act better known as RichGirl.

The video for their new single "He Ain't With Me Now (Tho)" just hit the net this weekend and I have it for you here.

What do you think about the video? It's pretty hot. I think the Pussycat Dolls have some serious competition. No album release date still! What's the hold up Jive? These girls can obviously blow!

And while we're talking about serious pipes, I wanted to share these "Staircase Jams" with Melanie Fiona featuring "The Human Orchestra". Y'all know I love Melanie right?

Volume 1

Volume 2

And that's just the kind of down to earth dope chick that Melanie is. She can turn a stairwell into a concert hall. What do you guys think about Melanie Fiona? I've been so impressed with the talent coming out of Canada lately. They're taking over the music business!

Never heard of Rich Girl...But just by peeping the video, they have more talent than Electrik Red...
But why only into 5-1- secs of watching the video, Destiny's Child came to mind...Sound like Beyonce was singing in the very beginning, which is a turn off for me, so I didn't even bother to listen to the whole song....

@ Truth.... Damn, you must really woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning....Black Men don't hate black women...
Although we do need a helluva lot more female Mc's though.

Yea, all I got was a 90s Destiny's Child vibe from RichGirl. That's not a horrible thing, but considering how many fans/stans DC has, they might never live down the comparisons to make waves.

As far as Electrik Red, not checking for them at all. Is anybody?

Melanie is cool. I had her single on the iPod for a while and gave it many spins. I've since retired it, but I'll be checking for her project down the line.

these girls remind me of En Vogue girls who look like models and can blow
