After a couple of delays Ciara's Fantasy Ride is finally here. The singer, who recently was named one of People Magazine's "100 Most Beautiful People" has been in New York this week promoting the project.

Cici hit up "Good Morning America" and "Live! With Regis & Kelly" yesterday to perform "Never Ever" Check out the video below:

Anybody else think that with her slim frame and those funky sunglasses, she looks similar to a black Paris Hilton? Love the boots though.

Ciara was also spotted this Saturday dining in NYC at Rouge Tomate after she performed at the 2009 Revlon Run/Walk hosted by Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Connelly and Jimmy Fallon. I see she's sporting her pink!

You can read my take on Fantasy Ride in this previous post. Who is picking up a copy today?

Let's not forget that the amazingly talented Chrisette Michele is also releasing her album Epiphany today. She was in Chicago yesterday promoting the new project and an evening performance at the DuSable Museum on their local ABC morning show . You can see her perform "Epiphany" live HERE.

Gotta love the Drake cameo! Chrisette goes on tour with Anthony Hamilton and Musiq Soulchild this Summer.

I have Chrisette's album and it is INCREDIBLE. I will not do a full review because I think after saying I have nothing but praise for it, you should understand that and just go get it. She has an amazing voice. I want to compare her to Anita Baker or someone of that stature because she makes that kind of music that you can just play at the house all day, play in the car all day, listen to when you go to sleep or when you wake up. It's just good music. Go get that album!

Rebel, that's probably the realist shit you've said since I've been reading your blog... Her album is amazing..I had to steal that joint from my wife one morning and rode all the way to work listening to it.. I was like "OMG", why is this chick not getting any radio play??? But my question is quickly answered once I turn on the radio and hear songs like "Blame It", "Turning Me Off" "Knock You Down",& "Put a Ring On it (I know, they are still playing that annoying ass song),..
Ephipany is incredible..

Rebel, CiCi's album has been pushed back more than Jaime Foxx's hairline, not just a couple. LMAO!!!

PS... What's up with the backgroud singers wearing lace front wigs??? It's pretty hard to look at that video and not have thoughts of Bey's "Diva" video as well... And not just cause of the wigs..Their whole style.

I am not feeling Ciara's album. I don't know what happen this time around. I like her other ones before this but this one was just wrong. I wish she would go back to her old style and make the music that everyone loves. I haven't heard Chrisette Michele's album yet, so I can't say much about it.

FIRST OFF CLO-FRESH..................... WHAT HAVEN'T SHE TOOK FROM BEYONCE IS THE QUESTION? LMAO....LOL........... LOOK AT HER NEW VIDEO AND GO LOOK BEYONCE CONCERT THE EXPERIENCE AND ALL HER VIDEOS.......................CASE CLOSED.............................

first off let me echo how good and refreshing the new chrisette compact is. the new album along with elliot yamin are some of the most sincere and consistent albums i've heard in a long time. not one song is out of step and they're strong thematically. chrisette's smoky vocals are so familiar and inviting, i couldn't pinpoint it at first. numerous references came to mind: toni braxton, macy gray, erykah badu, billie. blame it on me is a classic song. i cannot get enough of that as well as the neyo-penned "porcelain doll", she totally owns that one. ephiphany is testament to the artist's versatility. even though its commercial, it doesn't feel as if she's compromised herself or her artistry to cash in just because she could have.

as for ciara, fantasy ride isnt perfect but its damn head above the rest. its very easy to dismiss the collection of songs as superficial, but cici's ownership and experimentation of the material is something totallly else. every artist has a defining moment in their career and this is it. fantasy ride encapsulates the walls of sounds that takes you through all the highs and the lows, much like the namesake itself similar to a rollercoaster. it is both a throwback to the 80s and 90s as well as a nod to the future. pure adernalin and zesty fun. hypnotic, seductive, effortless. her wit, tenderness and rapid fire delivery are all on display. Never Ever, Turntables, G is For Girl recall the wordplay and dance extravaganzas of Diana Ross, Lover's Thing and Pucker Up are quintessential Janet respectively - the first is similar to Janet's Thinkin About my Ex while the latter is simliar to Feedback, I Dont Remember and Tell Me What Your Name Is bring to mind the sensuality and wisp of Cyndi Lauper, Like A Surgeon obviously channels Madonna's hit. i was afraid for the girl but despite everything the sequencing of the songs is managed well. i would have like to have heard some pure instrumentation, with her singing over an acoustic number with horns and strings. but there's more pluses here than minuses here.

YES IM COPPING CIARA'S ALBUM!! AND THOSE OF YOU WHO THINKS SHE'S GONNA "FLOP" THINK AGAIN, THE NUMBERS ARE GONNA MAKE U GUYS LAFF AT YOURSELVES FOR DOUBTING HER!!! GET THE ALBUM, IT'S PURE FIYAH, NO OTHER ARTIST OUT NOW, YESTERDAY, OR IN THE PAST SOUNDS LIKE OUR GIRL CICI!!!

@ YOUNG...........YOU SOUND LIKE AN IDIOT WITH YOUR COMMENT......... EVERYBODY LOOK AT WHAT HE/SHE POSTED AND LAUGH... A CIARA ALBUM.................ROFLMAO.......................SHE DONT EVEN HAVE VOCALS FIRST OFF TO CARRY HER ALONG THE WAY............. DANCING IM SO TIRED OF THE MATRIX.......................LIKE THEY SAID ON THE RADIO SHE'S NOT GROWING AS AN ARTIST... BE CREATIVE AND TRY SOMETHING NEW... SORRY............
