Mariah Carey flew to France for the Cannes Film Festival to help co-stars Paula Patton, Lenny Kravitz and Gabourey Sidibe promote their film Precious
For those of you familiar with Sapphire's novel "PUSH," the film, which was directed by Lee Daniels and also stars Mo'Nique, was based on that book. In the film Mariah plays the social worker assigned to the film's main character, Precious, an illiterate teen mother of two who has been abused by her parents. Mariah caught a ton of flack for Glitter , but seems to have gotten back on the right track. She got some good reviews for her work in Tennessee and I'm looking forward to seeing how she does in Precious. Did anybody actually see Tennessee? Was it good? I don't want to have to rely on Nick Cannon's word. Do you guys think Mariah will be able to successfully become a leading lady in the film world?

wow that trailer from PRECIOUS looks really good ?? Im also impressed by Mariahs change,it seems to me that shes making good choices and shes leaving her ego and comfort zone behind to show how really talented she can be (the same with music),,props for mariah ???
