I must say as a black person I am really ashamed about this whole incident and how black people are responding. Why are we allowing our standards to fall so low they are almost non-existent. Why are we losing our morals? Why do we feel the need to make everything about race? Some here and on other sites stated that if he said these things about Solange, Amerie or Kelly Rowland then it would not be a big deal. however the BIG difference with these comparisons is all of these WOMEN are adults. And even then, in my book, his comments would still be inappropriate.

I will say that your comments were the most coherent that I have read thus far. However with free speech comes responsibility whether we want to believe that or not. Mr. Foxx, being the father of a daughter who is about the same age as Miley I feel should have known better. Would he like it or see it as, "just jokes" had someone, especially someone that did not know him or his daughter, said that about his? I don't think he take it lightly. I don't think this will hurt his career. I just hope he think before he speaks in the future. I had a lot of respect for Mr. Foxx as a talented and versatile black man in Hollywood, doing right, staying out of trouble and clean, presenting himself in a respectful fashion. I hope he will continue to carry himself in that fashion because I want to gain respect for him once again.

@mytwocents - first off thanks for the love on "my two cents" :-) and I must say that you do have a point. If it was his daughter, maybe he wouldn't have taken it lightly because, sure, noone wants anyone to disrespect their kids or family and in that respect he was out of pocket. But again, if that's his opinion about her he should have the right to state it on his radio show. He didn't go to MediaTakeout or go to his blog and bash her to death, he just stated an incident and what happend and how he felt about it. He just made the wrong choice to use obscence language. I guarantee that if he said something in jest like "Miley Cyrus needs to get run over by a bus" I don't think anyone would have even brought this up - well maybe because it's "celebrity gossip" but you get what I'm saying.
