"Blame It On The Alcohol" doesn't seem to be leaving the club playlists or radio airwaves anytime soon, but Jamie Foxx is already at work breaking his newest Timbaland-produced single "I Don't Need It"

"Blame It' has been #1 at urban mainstream radio for 8 straight weeks -- that's in addition to being a top 10 single along with his previous two singles "Just Like Me" and "She Got Her Own" but Foxx is still going hard with his Intuition album. Check out his newest single "I Don't Need It" below:

I Dont Need It ft. Timbaland - Jamie Foxx

What do you think? I think it's pretty hot actually -- although for some reason, to me, it sounds like something Anthony Hamilton would do. There should be a music video coming in May -- and after the cameo filled "Blame It" video, I'm eager to see how Foxx will top it with this one. Set your TiVo as well because Jamie is slated to do a live performance of "I Don't Need It" airing on the Tyra show the week of 4/27.

Jamie's acting career is also very much alive. His newest film, "The Soloist" hits theatres on 4/24 -- which happens to be the same day Beyonce's "Obsessed" film lands as well. Beyonce might win in the record sales department but I'm willing to bet on Foxx at the box office.

Mario is hard at work on a currently untitled new album, projected for release in the Fall. It's looking like his first single is going to be this Bangladesh-produced collabo with Gucci Mane and Sean Garrett "Break Up".

Break Up (feat. Gucci Mane and Sean Garrett) - Mario

I see Bangladesh is still reworking that "A Milli" beat for folks. Let's hope it works for Mario as well as it did for Beyonce with"Diva". And no the beat isn't the exact same, but that drum pattern is awfully familiar -- no? What do you guys think about Gucci Mane on R&B records? Next thing you know there will be a whole Trap & B category.

I like that song by Jaime..But I don't think it will live on radio..It has a late 70's type feel which I love with a new millenium twist.. I love Jaime's work. Keep it coming Foxx.
The song by Mario feat Gucci is just ok..I'm not to thrilled.. The beat by Bangledesh compaered to beats that he gave Wayne and Beyonce fell real short. I'm not feeling the beat at all honestly...
Damn "Desh", I thought you were gonna bring the heat every time with the production....

Jamie need to go with the Lil wayne cut. This one is old sounding.

Man am i the only one who thinks this guys beats are weak and simple.. Why isnt Dreams' stock rising with the beats he got.? Those are ORIGINAL and full of melody... And Bangladesh is the same producer that did 8ball n MJG's lead singles "Don't make.." and "You dont wanna" from their Bad Boy debut..! How does this happen? And im always a Gucci fan but of late i dunno...

AMIlli was wack as a beat.. Diva was the EXACT same SONG with 2 new sound effects.... just as bad..

When are these artist going to attempt to TRY to push themselves? No wonder no one buys CD's...

@ The REAL Dook....Nigga, you can't be serious!!!!
I was agreeing with you up until you got to:
AMIlli was wack as a beat..
Man, that beat was fucking bananas...I agree that The "Diva" beat was the samething as the A Milli beat with 2 new sound effects, but nevertheless, both beats are fiyah...You need to be Chris Brown'd real quick!!

J.Foxx should've did a video for "overdose" or "slow" rather than this. Don't get me wrong "I don't need it" is my shit too, but he should even out the party/slow jam ratio with some smooth joints in my opinion.

@ clo-fresh
I was just telling someone that yesterday, that Diva beat is especially tough IMO.

I'm not feelin this one at all....I've been down with Timbaland since "Welcome to Our World" w Magoo and "Need It" is one of my least fav tracks on the album. I don't think thats gonna bang in the clubs at all. I have the Perfect solution...the single should be "Digital Girl" w Kanye and The Dream.....It'll catch ears since Ye drops two verses and Dream has a smooth ass breakdown, not to mention it capitolizes on the whole download, twitter, fbook, techy lifestyle and unless you've been living under a rock, you know that technology is poppin right now...to say the least.. Word Up

Shoulda went with "Digital Girl" w Ye and Dream.....I play that in the club now and it bangs plus it lends itself to a video with the whole cpu theme...word up...send me a check..lol-

@ Clo-fresh

LOL@Chris Brown'd... U mean Rihanna'd...

I appreciate the response and recognition from the great Clo-fresh of SOHH... (no bullshittin) I been gettin it in on here for a min and want to be part of the community so recognize ya boy. Google my comments ( Dook or Tha REAL DooK) and see where ya boy mind at... cuz im on...

An im sorry Clo, but when i hear amilli, i go the other way... it was wack from the jump and im still tryin to figure out whats so hot about it... Its the perfect example of Waynes' rambling.. about nothin..

On another topic, did you see the bodyguard in that milli video in the 40 Glocc video confronting wayne? Priceless :)

I think I Don't Need It is a really good song because it does have an old school flare/new school twist to it. Anyone knocking on it doesnt recognize goooood music (yeah i dont care what you got to say to that). I personally think it wont do as well as the other singles because it AINT a club song. But R&B artists dont always make CLUB hits and thats where everyone gets confused. I think he should release both singles. Digital Girl is a hot track as well and it has more of that club vibe to it. But I Dont Need it is a feel good song that might get your Moms or Pops to bop they head too.
