Last Wednesday I visited the set of Slim's new video "Apologize" in Atlanta and I wanted to share some of the photos from the shoot with you.
So for this one Slim channeled Robert Palmer and makeup artist Ariane (www.prettygirlgroup.com) created a "Simply Irresistable" look with glossy red lips and smoky eyes for the models.
Here's a couple more shots of the girls:
I spoke to Slim about the video and here is what he had to say:
This song right here was really designed for us players that just don't quite have the right words to say. Usually we put our foot in our mouths, as far as relationships. It could be something real simple and we'll mess it up. so I got a fly way of saying I apologize for something. Just straight up being honest, I was ego tripping, i apologize. That's exactly what the joint is.
The whole look I wanted it really plain simple and sexy, kinda give it that feel like Rod Stewart or Robert Palmer with an all girl band. That fly look. Fashion forward, you see I got the big jumbo bow tie. I don't think anybody could pull this off like me. Real fly right now. That's exactly what's happening.
Slim doing his thing:

I don't have the final video for you yet, but I will post as soon as I have it. Special thanks to director Dorian Forbes, producer C-Nite, Slim's manager Phil Williams, Al Sykes, Myisha Brooks, Candy, Ariane and Pash.

LMAO...Just by looking at the very first pic, I was like, "WTF, he did a collab with Dream's lame ass "Electrik Red" group... But then I saw the white girl looking all out of place.
