When Ne-Yo hit the Grammy red carpet Sunday with longtime girlfriend, dancer, Tenille, on his arm, which only created more of a frenzy over whether the two are heading toward the altar soon.
Personally I'm convinced she's the inspiration behind "Miss Independent", which, while I'm at it, I should probably mention won him two Grammy's this year. Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song. Then yesterday I was mailed some new Ne-Yo material that only added fuel to the fire, and of course I want you to hear it. The song is appropriately titled, "Future In You". Listen below:
I see a whole lot of folks getting inspired to settle down off of this one. What do you think? Is Ne-Yo preparing to settle down?
I also wanted to discuss the Four Tops Tribute/Jamie Foxx/Ne-Yo performance at the Grammy's:
I really wanted to like it, but I just didn't. It looked and sounded like they could have used an extra couple days of rehearsal. Did you guys enjoy it? Oh and while I have a reason to talk about Jamie Foxx -- did you guys see his daughter? She's so grown up. I hope he's ready because you know what they say about karma and ladies men who have beautiful daughters. Talk to me y'all!
