Kelly should have left a long time ago, her single Like This was on fire for a min but her album flopped. Of course beyonce is goin to get star treatment, but he never gave kelly that chance to really shine. I feel her and beyonce can sing, but kelly needs a better management team. Her situation is kinda of like Keri Hilson, they both got talent just not the right people behind them.

Oh, finally. The management for Kelly was horrible; it was obvious to everyone that she wasn't priority at all. They didn't even TRY to push her album when it wasn't even a bad CD. Hopefully now it'll be easier for her to do her own thing.

I think Kelly will be fine on her own! whether its Music, modeling or TV not to mention all the royalties that will continue to pour in from her DC days, hopefully Matthew aint raping her that way! but she shouldve been left and the Knowles family should understand that with no hard feelings or they werent never family in the beginning, just personal! matthew had good artists on his label i cant think of the name, i know Sunshine Anderson was one and her CD is wonderful, but no marketing or anything was done!

Common knowledge, Matthew Knowles is the sole reason why LeToya Luckett didn't perform on the BET main stage. He's the reason she did not receive any BET awards. He's the reason LeToya was removed from the Daddy's Little Girl Soundtrack. Bottom line, Matthew AND BeyawnSay are poisonous snakes. She pretends to be demure, sweet and kind, but I'm sure if Kelly's contract will afford her the opportunity we would get the real Beyawnsay. Although, I don't need to read a tell-all book to know that Kelly sings on the majority of Beyawnsays first/second CD. Not only is Kelly 100% better looking than Beyawnsay, she has a better, more soothing voice. Beyawnsay's was forced on the public. Now look at her? Where is she in the world of music? So she performed for the president? What career boost did she gain from that? So far nothing because Beyawnsay is old, she lacks appeal and she has not evolved, and her music is cotton candy fluff. Kelly did the right thing, branching off. It's never too late when you believe in yourself. Do people know Matthew is the reason Kelly didn't get an endorsement with Marc Jacobs? Hmmmm. There is so much selfishness with the Knowles cult it's criminal. LeToya made it, and is about to drop her sophomore album, the first went #1 and gold there was NOTHING Matthew could do to prevent her from succeeding. BUT they tried to by releasing a 2 week rushed crappy album by Beyawnsay who turned around and presold it the day LeToya debuted. People, people, see through Beyawnsay's smoke. She has not an original thought in her soul. She copies and steals because she is her father's science project and he is fresh out of ideas and talent.

Solange is only getting attention because she is Beyonce's sister. Notice how the endorsement deals she get Beyonce is attached to as well. She is going on tour with who?...Beyonce. She performs at events because Beyonce is also on the bill. Kelly can change management all she want, she isn't going to be any big of a star than she already is.

Well, I heard discussion a while back that the only reason Kelly gets any shine from her label is because they want to keep her around for a Destiny's Child reunion. That is their big meal ticket. She might need to jump labels where she can get a bigger budget, too. Management is not responsible for everything.

Personally, Kelly and Michelle are only fillers for me. Beyonce took the Destiny's Child sound, updated it, and ran with it. The others now struggle to find a sound that's different and it doesn't really work. Not everybody in a group is meant to be a standout star. Kelly is about as big as she's going to get as far as star power. If she can get this third project right, she might sell more, but she won't be a bigger star.

I think we need to think about what we mean by "star" here. I don't think Kelly has what Beyonce has, but that just means (to me) that she can be a different kind of star. I think she's been underutilized in this vain attempt to turn her into a pop star in the same vein as Beyonce. I think new management, assuming she chooses wisely, can help Kelly create a separate identity that works for her. I think its then up to the public to look at her as an artist independent of Beyonce. We the public haven't done the best job by buying into this notion that there can only be one sister on top at a time.

For my money, I think Kelly needs a real R&B makeover. Her voice has a depth and clarity Beyonce's lacks which is well-suited to some soul joints. If she's smart, she'll get management that will hook her up with Raphael Saadiq, the Soulquarians, Mike City and songwriters who know more about melody than beats and hooks.

Time will tell...

1. Bossip? Why would this source tell Bossip when they can tell TMZ? Thats why I dont believe this.
2. This same rumor can up last summer, except that time it was started by Mediatakeout which is basically Bossip's twin.
3. Would her having new managment really make a difference? People already have it set in their heads she is a "flop".
I hope this is true so that if she fails this time, people wont have Beyonce or Matthew to blame. Its time for people to learn everyone isnt meant to be a huge solo star...

Your the only one in here who makes the most sense. I agree, I think the label F'd up trying to make her Beyonce #2 (perfect example: "Work That" video) which made it easy for the public to compare them, which then made it easy for them to choose one over the other. She needs to be totally revamped. Kinda like the way Solange did. Solange knew she didnt stand a chance unless she went totally left field of what her older sister was doing.
The album "Ms. Kelly" got promotion. Its just no one was interested. Cant make the public like you. Rather Solange got more promotion than Kelly are not, Kelly's album has sold more than Solange's anyway.

It is true, the just confirmed it

Solange needs to sit down! She sounds horrible and that performance was wack! Good for you Kelly! Kelly has talent, she just really needs to be herself instead of playing to the media like the Knowles'. And be happy with her success and not compare it to anyone else's. We need more people in the music industry who do it for the enjoyment rather than the attention. That's why artists long ago excelled and became icons, because they enjoyed it. Fame was secondary.

In my opinion Kelly should have left a long tme ago. I also believe Kelly & Solange can sing. They may have a different range in tones which is understandable because their style in music is different. Kelly has a pop R&B style, while Solange has an earthy 60's vibe. Solange last album was hot, wish I could say the same for Kelly. Oh and here's a lil trivia. Check the credit on Solange & Kelly's CD to see who wrote most of the music and then you can draw your own conclusion whether Solange deserves the spotlight.
