Rihanna To Headline Pepsi Superbowl Smash, Amy Wino's Assistant Sells Her Out

So I guess it's only fitting that Rihanna has been tapped to headline the NFL's Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash.  She'll be the most urban act of the two night event, which also features Fall Out Boy, Lifehouse, and Enrique Iglesias.  Super Bown Bash is set to take place at the  Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida on Jan. 29 to kick off Super Bowl XLIII, which takes place on February 1st.

Now we all know Rihanna's not the strongest live singer out there, but I think her whole style is perfect for Superbowl weekend and with the year she had in 2008, who else could possibly draw crowds?

Watch her in action performing in Perth, Australia last month:

You have to admit she gets the audience going. RihRih is just doing the Pepsi Smash Concert, while Bruce Springsteen has been tapped for the actual Super Bowl halftime show but I can think of at least half a dozen people I'd rather see there. Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Prince, T-Pain, Chris Brown.... And that's just the off the top of my head list. Who do you think should've been chosen to do the Super Bowl halftime show?

Amy Winehouse

In other news, as if we didn't already have a pretty good idea that Amy Winehouse was doing a lot of crazy ish to herself, a former assistant is putting all her biz on the street --- I mean bulimia, crack for breakfast, cutting, a sex addiction. Watch below for details:

And while it's all juicy stuff, it's a real human life we're talking about here. I really hope she gets it together -- SOON. I was listening to Amy's version of "Moody's Mood for Love" last night and it's amazing.

I need her alive to keep singing!

Even though I am tired of the Auto-Tune thing, Pain has had a insurmountable year so he does deserve a spot and C Breezy, yeah you can count him in 2 for having such a great year...

Clo-fresh, you are so fuck'n ignant (yes...ignant). And you manage to display it everytime you comment. The blog is called "SOHH Soulful"...Amy makes soul music. Stop grouping black people together. I'm black and I happen to love Winehouse's music. Purchased both of her albums. In fact I shouldnt of even responded to you after you said you would rather see Chris Brown (who in my opinion cant sing for shit) and T-Pain (whose latest album hasnt done so well, "insurmountable"?...I think not.) over Beyonce (who clearly was born for the stage and vocally hovers over half the females in the industry?) or Jay-Z (I dont even have to state his impact on Hip-Hop).
Your laughable. Sometimes I get a kick out of your outlandish comments but ridiculous is ridiculous. And I want you to respond with one of your wannabe clever comments. Show us just how much of a silly monkey you are.
