Beyonce unveils her videos for "Halo" and "Diva" today but before I unveil them, I have to say this double single release thing is getting a bit tired. Are we really going to do this for every single Bey? Does Sasha get upset if she doesn't have a video out too or something?
Since Bey is so intent on hogging the spotlight with her two videos, I figured I'd pit them against each other in a VERSUS battle. First up to bat is "Halo" which in addition to being a beautiful song, also features the very beautiful actor Michael Ealy *fans self* unfortunately it was difficult to enjoy him much with blinding light in every frame. Watch it now:
Simple and beautiful, but did anybody else wonder if Beyonce was inspired by "Dirty Dancing" or "Flashdance" or even that old Lionel Ritchie video "Hello"? Maybe it's just me. Oh well!
So the next contestant in Beyonce's dueling video battle is "Diva" a song that was produced by "A Millie" beatmaker Shondrae "Mr. Bangladesh" Crawford. He's predicting the song will be bigger than "A Millie". I'm gonna spare you my critique of the video until after I post, because I don't have much nice to say.
I really don't think I've seen such a low budget video with Beyonce in it since ummm Destiny's Child "Jumpin' Jumpin'". Aside from the little explosion that is. But that's just my opinion. I want to hear yours.
Which Beyonce video was better? "Halo" or "Diva"? Talk to me y'all!
