Rihanna

I tried my best not to join the Rihanna bandwagon, but I have to admit, she's a baaaaaad b*tch... That said, it's looking like work on her fourth album is underway.

Just this week a demo "B*tch, I'm Special" hit the net. I'm posting below...

It's just a demo, so no that's not Rihanna on the vocals...

And it was only a matter of time before Rihanna was replicated in doll form. Don't ask me where to buy one of these things...

In other RihRih news, who else but one of her biggest fans Kanye West is crediting the Bajan beauty for pushing Beyonce into fierce new territory... At a listening for his new 808's & Heartbreak, Ye told UK's thehiphopchronicle.com that, 'Rihanna was the best thing to happen to Beyonce', meaning the success of Rihanna forced Beyonce to step her game up. Which she did, according to Kanye her new video 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)'. Apparently Ye's a big fan of the video as he expressed his respect and love for it, while saying it was a concept that he never would have come up with.

Here's his promo for his own album, due out November 24th:

And some promo pics from Sasha Fierce herself... Enjoy!

What do you think? How long 'til we're ready for Bey to take another LOOOONG break?

Okay, lets not forget that RiRi and kanyeezy are "great" friends, no telling how many times she massaged his phallus for him to say "Rihanna pushed Beyonce". As much as I can't stand Beyonce's world takeover, there is no competition between the two. Riri can't sing live, her voice is pleasant, but not great. Riri didn't even become famous until "umbrella". Nah, I'm not hating I just know that all of her awards show performances were horrible.

Am I the only one who thinks that all of these alter ego creations are some stupid marketing ploys. Beyonce is the same exact person. She's just now trying to let the freak out, now that she is not under daddies iron fist. If you have an alter ego, then physciatrist say that your ass is crazy. Bey, go get that shit checked.

@ C-Lo

Its not that serious. T.I. did with his T.I. vs. T.I.P album and it wasnt a problem...

Sorry to let Kanye and Rebel know, but Beyonce did not come up with the idea for the Single Ladies video, Bob Fosse did. Bey said in an interview that this video inspired her video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfACM-xB904

Just add a few hip hop moves and now you have the Single Ladies video. Great dancing in both videos though.

Thanks George, I knew Bey got the idea from Fosse/Gwen Verdon but it's still a new concept to bring Fosse to R&B/ hip-hop. I think it's fair of Kanye to give the girl some credit for introducing the public to a genre of art they'd normally never be exposed to. I think the whole "best thing to ever happen to Bey" quote is way off though Ms Molly is on point with her comment. As hot a star as Rihanna is right now -- you don't see her collecting publishing checks for songwriting and she's only mastered public speaking over the last year or so -- I remember watching and hearing interview footage of her when the first album dropped and just CRINGING at the rough edges.

Soul Rebel, Rihanna was 16 years old when her first cd dropped, so yes she had some 'rough edges.' She's gained experience and is more polished now. As for Bey collecting royalty checks, I have no problem with that as long as those royalties are rightfully earned. Bey's new cd has not even dropped yet and already there's a controversy over who wrote that If I Was a Boy song. Check BC Jean's My Space page, it's the exact same song. And as I recall, there was an issue with NEYO and who wrote Irreplaceable on her last cd. Give credit where credit is due.

Am I the only person that thinks the music Beyonce has released so far as garbage?

I tried my best not to jump on the hot hanna bandwagon too but it's impossible not to give props where it's due. This is one bad young b*tch for-real. She will never take the place of my baby aaliyah but I like her alot ( she reminds me of liyah a little with her flare and grind) she stands alone and got a unique voice and is young, and very serious about what she is doing and very attractive. She is a queen in her own right. Go girl do you and by the way beyonce will never be on her level and she start three years ago.

I think that people are ignoring straight fatcs as usual. Rihanna is truly a star in her own right. GGGB amassed 6 hits. She has become a style icon and has been the IT girl for the past two years. Now with that said, Rihanna is young. she's 20. Beyonce was 15 when she came out. Just because she was in Destiny's Child does not mean she loses the time that she has been in the indusrty. Beyonce has had 2 very successful #1 albums not to mention producing at least 3 top 10 singles from each album. Rihanna's first two albums didnt even reach the status the beyonces first two did. As well as Rihanna has yet to have a number 1 album. No hate On RiRi as her fans affectionately call her, i love Rihanna and think she is very talented, but until Rihanna acheives even one number 1 album, lets let her sit on her little princess throne. B is queen.
