Beyonce

Yes, the Beyonce onslaught continues.  And with Bey set to release her album next month expect even more promotional performances, interviews and videos to come.  Anyway, Mrs. Carter is back with her second video, this one clearly crafted to please the dancing set.  Snaps for the kid, right? Oh, and kudos to girlfriend for working it out in that leotard.  Can't say she's not keeping up with hubby's favorite signee.

Based on the bare bones-ness of the following video, I'm gonna guess that "If I Were A Boy" took up most of Bey's video budget. Nice thighs though! Anytime homegirl wants to hawk a workout video I will be first in line for that joint.  Nuff talk, watch below:

Oh, and did anybody else get a good look at Beyonce's background dancer on the left? Coulda sworn she's a he.

T-Pain still can't get enough of the green screen videos. To his and director Syndrome's credit, this one is a little more convincing than "I Can't Believe It"

I honestly cannot wait until T-Pain throws away the vocoder/Auto Tune and stops making songs about meeting women at the bar.  Enough already!  I actually like Luda's part though, even with the extra fake animals LOL.

So Ryan Leslie put together a second video for Addiction. He describes the newer version as a, "tale of a stalker super-fan (played by Jeannena Flores from the 'Diamond Girl' movie) come to life. Starring Jaslene Gonzales (winner of America's Next Top Model) and featuring cameos by collaborators Fabolous and Swizz Beatz, this video finds me in studio, shopping with my girl, and catching her as she falls - swooning unconsciously from my stalker's poisoned libation. (The text message at 3:55 reads "WE WILL BE TOGETHER xxoxoxoxoxo")." Check it out below:

Whatever.  Is it wrong that I like the first one better because it was making a HUGE statement about the need for more black models in fashion? He also offered a long winded excuse about why Cassie couldn't make it for either video shoots on the YouTube entry for the video:

"I know, I know - where's Cassie???? To be honest, I had a big vision for this song to be a massive worldwide duet between me and her - the artist that introduced my music to the world in a huge way. For a long time, I've wanted to have a video that shows the incredible chemistry we've had as friends and collaborators. 'Long Way To Go' was close, but we weren't in any frames together aside from when she snapped her fingers at me on the way into the club. Disney had cut together a clip for 'Is It You,' a record I'd written for her on the 'Step Up 2: The Streets' soundtrack, but never officially released it as a single/video. It featured her in character as Sophie rehearsing the song with me at the piano. Due to her hectic schedule recording this new album, she wasn't available to shoot either 'Addiction' video with me and so I'm working on another collaboration/single for her album that deserves a video - unless I can convince her to do one for 'Sometimes' or even 'Just One Nite' (both songs I would love to see visually interpreted)."

Interesting and despite the explanation, still suspect. Homegirl could have been shot entirely separately and blended in later, particularly for that first video. And how is it that Fabolous had so much time and Cass doesn't? I still say Diddy blocked on this one.

I also wanted to share this video for "From My Heart to Yours" by new Atlantic Records artist Laura Izibor.

I'm not sure about this one, but kudos to Atlantic for trying something different. I really can't think of another Atlantic artist like her.
