After a nearly two week hiatus Janet Jackson is returning to her "Rock Withchu Tour," following an illness that put her on the sidelines. Promoters Live Nation confirmed to Access Hollywood that the superstar will return to her cross country trek beginning Saturday, October 11 in Uncasville, CT. The singer canceled concerts in Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia and Greensboro, North Carolina after she fell ill and was rushed to the hospital during a pre-show sound check, Monday September 29 in Montreal. Hopefully Janet is in the clear now and will be able to continue the tour without further interruption. I'm really rooting for her.

Janet's camp confirmed her return to the tour via an official announcement early this morning. "Janet, who has been under her doctor's care and recuperating over the last week, is excited about getting back on the road and again being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever,"Live Nation said via statement.

And it looks like the "Rock Witchu Tour" may not be the only place to catch a Janet Jackson live show. Promoters in Las Vegas have been wooing Janet to headline in Sin City and she's definitely considering it.

"They have approached me and I am giving it some thought," Jackson said.

I'm sure you remember my excitement earlier in the week over Young Steff making a video for "Professional" and I'm even more excited now that the wait is over and the video is out. Check it out below:

Young Steff "Professional"

Cute video. Iono about that permed ponytail Steff is rocking at the end though. Yikes!
Young Steff's debut album JUMP IT OFF lands in stores early 2009 on Richcraft/Atlantic Records.

It looks like all the hoopla over Beyonce's Grammy tribute to Tina Turner still isn't over. If you remember (it has been months now) Beyonce called Tina Turner the Queen and Aretha Franklin responded saying she was the Queen of Soul and everyone knows that. More recently Tina decided not to let sleeping dogs lie and responded by saying: "She's the queen of soul, and I'm the queen of rock 'n' roll. There were so many kings and queens there that night. Her ego must be so big to think she was the only one. That's how queens are!"

It should have BEEN over, but Aretha couldn't take the high road and got an extra couple jabs of her own in. "I never figured her to resort to tacky press just to sell a few tickets," says Franklin, who adds she has never met Turner. "I really had put her in a different class -- higher than that. No one has been more gracious...to their peers than I have, and I am confident and secure enough to do so, unlike some others."

Not cute ladies. The public loves you both and this catfight is beyond stupid.
