Keri Hilson has been a very busy young woman! With her debut album, In A Perfect World due out December 9th, homegirl has a new video with Chris Brown "Superhuman" and recently filmed a video for her Timbaland assisted single "Return The Favor" but industry naysayers haven't put a lot of faith in the songwriter turned artist.
Keri's label sent me this video with behind the scenes footage from the "Return the Favor" shoot. Check it out below:

Is it just me or does it sound like Keri is trying to even convince herself when she talks about the faith Jimmy Iovine has in her? Keri definitely has a leg up on the competition because of her rep as a songwriter as well as her associations with Timbaland and Polow Da Don -- still nothing is for certain. The industry is currently flooded with new artists and only a few have been able to stand out. Is it just me or has Chris Brown used that set for "With You" and "No Air" as well? Oh well. I want y'all's opinion on Keri! She's such a beautiful girl and obviously talented, am I the only one who thinks she's missing that spark? Polow, u my nukka but damn, can we get a livelier song out of your artist???
Meanwhile Chris Brown may not have to worry about being asked if he's with Rihanna any longer. According to Star magazine, Kanye West made a move on Rihanna earlier this week:
"Rihanna and Kanye hung out together after they performed their songs," a Star magazine snitch blabs. "Rihanna was sitting on Kanye's lap, singing along to the music. Before long, the two were full-on kissing each other." "People were shocked," the spy adds. "After a while, Rihanna must have realized people were watching, because she had her security escort her back to the dressing room."
Whoa. I kinda saw this coming though once he recruited her for the "Glow in the Dark Tour" and she got that whole wardrobe of dominatrix gear.
While the jury doesn't seem to be out about whether Danity Kane will reunite, I'm putting my bets on Aubrey going solo. Homegirl chopped it up with my boy DJ Vlad recently and seemed pretty confident about heading in a new direction.
