Happy Labor Day folks! Hope you are enjoying your day off. It's been such a busy summer it just hit me today that the VMA's are less than a week away. I have to say I'm not all that excited for this year's show – I missed "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" so I have no idea who the host – British actor Russell Brand – is and the list of performers isn't exactly knocking my socks off.
So far Travis Barker, DJ AM, Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry, Kid Rock, Lil' Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, Pink, Rihanna, T.I., and T-Pain have been announced to perform. I know that can't possibly be the final list, I'm sure MTV has some surprises up their sleeve because they always do.
What do you think this years surprise will be? Chris Brown duetting with Rihanna? Kanye and Jay-Z joining T.I. and Weezy for "Swagger Like Us"? Whatever it is, it better be good because right now the show is looking kind of like a rock takeover.
T-Pain is back with a new track, "Got To Go" and the latest from the Tallahassee native features the rapper turnt sanga falling back into his rap flow. I always knew T-Pain rapped, but I think these might be the most rapped bars I've heard from him ever maybe. Take a listen below.
What do you think? Let the radio brainwashing ensue!
