Usher In The Mix To Help Kickoff NFL Season & Unveil New Single, Is Bobby Brown Heading Back To The Altar?

Written By SOHH Soul Rebel

Usher will join Keith Urban and Natasha Bedingfield for an NFL season kickoff concert this Thursday at NYC's Columbus Circle. Starting at 3pm the show will precede the season opener between Superbowl champs New York Giants and the Washington Redskins. Ush told the AP he's already got his eye on a Superbowl spot of his own, in the coveted halftime show.

"I don't think it's too early to consider it," Usher said. "Certainly being associated with the organization makes that a lot more possible. There have been conversations for a lot of years about me being part of a performance at a Super Bowl… I'm hoping that this leads, definitely, to that. This whole process is basically you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours."

You can check out Usher's kickoff concert on, which will stream his performance.  So far his set list includes plans to perform "Here I Stand," "Changing Places" and "What's Your Name" with guest star  Word is "What's Your Name" will be Ush's third single. It's one of my favorites on Here I Stand, check it out below if you haven't already heard it.

We all know Usher has been loving his new married life – well it looks like Bobby Brown (who has only been divorced from Whitney Houston for a year) is ready to join the club. Bobby recently declared his love for his manager/girlfriend Alicia Etheredge  to Sister 2 Sister Magazine saying, "That one, the relationship is gonna work 'cause I'm gonna make it work."

While there's no word on when exactly the two will walk down the aisle Etheredge has been quoted as saying, "I think that Bobby is a big romantic and really does believe in love. His parents are still married after all these years and I think that he will find that again."

Bobby and Whitney divorced after 14 years of marriage.  I guess Alicia better get the bail money ready – Whitney stayed bailing Bobby's ass out.  Good luck to them.
