Let's be real – I didn't care much for the VMAs either. They were corny – a shiny plastic commercial shell of shows long long past. But when I read some comments from Courtney Love deriding the show for getting "so f*cking urban" I realized that the VMAs aren't the only thing best left in the past. Here's what the coke whore wrote on her MySpace blog:
"I didnt go to the 'VMAs', as we used to call them, but they've gotten so fucking urban I don't know, I guess Van Toffler thought (he's an exec at MTV) he was being edgy and he was by letting my darkling prince Brand host the MTV awards - but they're not the 'VMAs' and they never will be again," Love wrote. "I had zero desire to watch, let alone go, and that's one of my very favourite people I've ever known or had the honour of being friends and fiends with hosting it, so I feel horribly rude that my desire not to watch assholes with chastity rings - oh, for fuck's sake, I've had some great conversations but not one has ever ended in an orgasm, y'all need some pussy and some cock and shut the hell up."
What a cunt! In case you don't understand what she was talking about here is a translation. She would have liked to go because her f*ck buddy Russell Brand was hosting but she was too offended by the Jonas Brothers being virgins and all the "urban" stuff. I don't know or care too much about the Jonas Brothers – but where does this chick get off picking on a couple innocent little boys? And sorry but when I hear people proclaiming anything too urban I tend to read between the lines and skip to the real gripe – too many black people. Courtney Love doesn't like black people. Guess what? I don't like that b*tch either.
