I think my favorite joint might be "Mr. President. Janelle recently graced the cover of URB's Girls of Summer issue which also featured two other favorites of mine – Kid Sister and Santogold. Peep some video footage from the shoot below.

As much as some folks hate on blue eyed soul – I gotta push my boy Jamie Lidell – who is touring in support of his album Jim. Don't sleep – this North American tour precedes a European tour where Jamie will be opening for Sir Elton John.

I am not sure if my wife should be more concerned about Santogold or Monae! lol I love this sister. A little quirky, but definately grounded.
Diddy should be giving this sister promotion dollars. No TRL. (where she would be HUGE). No 106. No videos. No TV ads. No radio promo.
She could have gotten the cover of URB on her own 2 years ago.
Why re-release a classic album and not give it any promo?
I don't like the Diddy part of this equation.
