New Madonna Video, Even After 40 She's Still Got It

The video for Madonna's "4 Minutes" ft. Justin Timberlake has hit the net and I have to say WOW. This woman deserves a lot of respect. Say what you will about her, but she's a master at her craft. Check out the video -- I recommend watching the full screen version.

I don't understand what people see in this song and, I even more miffed to how people love the video. I give Madonna props for being damn near 50 and being able to jump in and out of cars and all, but she still can't dance for shit. And the concept is wack. What is that shit... jello? But people had plenty of stuff to say about Janet's video with coco puffs.

Saw the video and...it's okay. It's not bad, nor is it groundbreaking. Justin Timberlake is an alright dancer, but he couldn't really cut a rug like he usually does because (dare I say it) he doesn't want to show Madonna up. Madonna CAN'T DANCE!!!! I hate that Janet's Rock With U video was overlooked because there was actually great choreography in that video. But enough of that, I love Madonna, I love Mariah and I love Janet!!! So go on girls!

If we were to plug-in this video with Michael and Janet it would be a different reception! First, it would be 10x better dancing (anyone say otherwise is just not facing reality)! Secondly, they would be criticized for trying to be young and hip! Lastly, the song would never chart because radio would not play it! That's the true Ruth! Justin (who is nowhere near a Michael) and Madonna (who knows she could never dance or perform like Janet) are celebrated in the media for innovativeness! I'm not even going to get on Mariah who can't decide which week she wants to claim being black! Yes she can sing (I have some of her music), but she becomes "black" depending on her surrounding! Similar to what Paula Abdul tried to do. The media has been hard on Maria in the past, but will Whitney be given the same redemption opportunity? Wake up my people!

Just because Madonna has stayed around this long doesn't mean she is still any good. Video is just so so and the song SUCKS. All old rehashed moves including camera moves. And good old Madonna showing us how limber and HOT she is. Wow. Tons of barely known bands and artists have much more creative vids out there.

To me the song is weak, the beat is alright but the words are dumb to me. The video is weird, im not understanding what they are running from or whats they are doing. Madonna really cant dance tho im not sure what she was doing have the time LOL. This video makes me more fond of Janets milk video. None of these women mariah madonna or janet have come wit strong videos, but i have to admit Janet's feedback was the strongest song, the beat, lyrics, everything came together. See, this shyt TOTALLY pisses me off!
Madonna will be FIFTY years old in August - FIFTY!!!!!
And we're trying to "dumb down" HER age as we talk about the fact that SHE's still doing it "after fourty" - How about after 49!!?!!!
But on the same token Janet Jackson is 41 and we're constantly talking about it being time for HER to give it up! Madonna's great, I love her, but isn't it interesting that:
- HER singing ability is no better than Janet's
- Janet has Madonna performance wise hands down
- Madonna is TEN times more seductive and "freaky" than Janet and SHE's FIFTY (I can't stress that enough)
- We suggest that JANET retire or "give it up".. .but we're giving props to a FIFTY year old WHITE woman whose doing the EXACT same thing that Janet is doing PLUS 10 years...
