She looks great -- modeling some of the finest winter outerwear -- I think I caught a cold watching that ish tho...
Jokes but seriously, I hope she's getting her due from Bvlgari and the fur people cuz I definitely was checking out the sunglasses and the fur hood.

Tyga Coconut Juice Music Video
It's not anything groundbreaking to me, aside from all his famous friends. Apparently Lil Wayne and Pete Wentz (aka Ashlee Simpson's babydaddy) like the dude. so I wouldn't be surprised if he does better than Sean Kingston.
I have a feeling there is more to "Coconut Juice" but I don't think I need to know -- so I won't ask.
Oh wait. It's in his bio:
"I don’t drink alcohol, so at parties I would just walk around with a cup mixed with whatever else I could find. When people asked what I was sipping on I would say ‘coconut juice’ because it sounded funny. So I made a song about it."
Word. That's it?
Anyway dude is from Compton (I would never have guessed with this island vibe he has going with this song) Pete Wentz is calling him "the future" and Weezy apparently is letting him on The Carter 3. His album No Introduction is coming out June 10th on Decaydance/Young Money Ent.

One last thing. A touch of stalkerazzi came out in me yesterday afternoon. I found out Mariah Carey was over at my local radio station (very very local, I didn't have to drive to do my stakeout). She was running late to her Universal City appearance so I wasn't able to get a picture but if anybody cares enough I'll post a pic of the Rolls Royce she was ridin round in.
Oh - and not to piss on the Janet fans Cheerios but how come she didn't go on Oprah or American Idol to promote her album? And how come she's in Japan now promoting? Like couldn't she still do some promo here? Just some questions, don't get testy please.

That Mary joint is tha bizness! I'm really feeling that vid. I don't know about Tyga. I'm not really feelin' it. Maybe it'll be a grower.
And to answer your question about why Janet hasn't been doing any promotion: she was in bed sick with the flu, but she's better now. So maybe we'll see some more promotion of the album.
This will be a perfect topic for Wackshonda to come in and bash Janet just because she's actually sells records and she still unknown.
WHY IS TYGA IN SOULFUL?. TYGA IS A RAP ARTIST. BUT HEY IT IS WHAT IT IS. MARY J IS CONSISTENT AND HAS BEEN FOREVER, ITS CRAZY.
Mary J still killn the competition after damn near 2 decades in the game. I dunno what winter had to do with that song tho...I think Hype Williams been sniffin too much of that white.
That Tyga song is dumb..yet oddly catchy for sum reason. itll probably be a hit
Honestly Hype directed a weak for a great song. As for Janet I feel like a team was focused on making good with MTV and the young pop crowd they forgot about her main fan base besides being sick I feel like they did not care about the project.
I Love Mary's song, and I got reservations about the video but will not hate. The video is beautiful and Mary looks better than ever.
The mary videos is ehhh, it could've had a STORYLINE instead of a fashion show in antarctica lol! Now as far as Janet is concerned according to her she had bronchitis and borderline pneumonia. So that is nothing that you just take a vitamin c and keep it moving. Also she is not in Japan anymore that was a quick visit and I am sure she will do some more stuff here. The cd is too good to be ignored. So we will see what happens in the coming months leading to the tour in September.
I wanted something else for the 'Stay Down' video. It was just alright and was no where close to what I was expecting. I think Hype has burned out. But at the end of the day its MJB and I love the song!

Janet is over it! She's just making records to fulfill contractual obligations. I can tell that her spirit is no longer in it like it was. She's trying to keep her game face tite but its hard when your heart is not really in it anymore.
I'm at work and can't see the MJB video, so I'll have to comment later. I take it this is another fashion show video like Just Fine though. A storyline would have been perfect for this one - like what Ashanti did for The Way That I Love you.
As for Janet, I think Twio Cents is right. I'm not feeling that hunger from Janet anymore. Either that, or Team Janet has completely lost their way. I don't think we can blame MTV, the Superbowl incident, or anything else that's gone wrong with this latest release. The album dropped in Feb. That was before the flu/bronchitis. The biggest promo push usually happens before the album drops (to kickstart buzz/anticipation), not after. You just do pushes to keep sales going/steady afterwards. I love Janet. There's been a few joints since the All for You album that I've liked, but it has been hard to stay on the wagon. MJB may not have Janet's overall sales, but she's hella consistent. Stay Down is that track on Growing Pains.
And on Mariah - can I just say that "I Stay In Love" is the next smash from her album. That's this album's "We Belong Together". Her album isn't groundbreaking, but it's solid. "Loving You Long Time", "Migrate" (What does she know about migrating, LOL), "For the Record" and "Last Kiss" are good too. "Cruise Control" is hot, but it reminds me of "Shake It Off" for some reason.
One last thing. How does JD hook Mariah up with hot stuff, but can't make that magic with Janet? Why does it seem that we can buy into Mariah's "Last Kiss" but flush Janet's "Rock With U"?
