Faith Writes a Book, Hov & Mary Make a Video & New New from Ne-Yo

My girl Natasha at YBF.com made my day yesterday with the rumor alone that Faith Evans is writing her memoirs. It's supposedly set to hit shelves in August. The rumored book cover is above. Check out the synopsis:
"KEEP THE FAITH is Faith Evan’s first person account of life at ground zero of hip-hop’s greatest generation. She’ll share the truth about the love affair that changed her life, and the innuendo that rocked the hip-hop world to its core. From her passionate and tragically short-lived life with Biggie, Faith will finally lay the true story on the line. We’ll get to see the good, the bad and the ugly side of P Diddy; nobody knew either quite as well as Faith."
wait a minute -- uhhh did Faith forget Kim Porter? or Misa? Come to think of it Mary J. Blige should know the many sides of Puffer well too, no?

Not sure if I believe that that's the official video but the song has grown on me some. It's still no "Can't Knock The Hustle" though

what will Faith say about Kim & Charlie?

Faith's book will be a juicy read. She's a legacy diva, there from the beginning of
IS SHE GOING TO ADMIT SHE IS A COKE HEAD. SHE HAS NO INFLUENCE ON BIGGIE LIFE EXCEPT HAVING HIS KIDS. SHE IS IRREVELANT AND BROKE. THERE IS NO NEED FOR THIS BOOK. JUST LIKE BIGGIE MOM. TRYING TO MAKE A BUCK OF SOMEONE ELSE. HATE ME FOR MY COMMENTS BECUASE IT'S TRUE.
ONLY THING I WANT TO KNOW FROM HER IS HOW SHE GOT PLAYED BY BIGGIE.
I str8 love that Mary & Jay video....Mary looks stunning as always and HOV is jus HOV..nuff said!

Is it me or does Faith's voice sound a lot like Karen Clark Sheard's from the Clark Sisters? Anyway, I always wondered why Faith never blew up. I thought it was her lack of confidence on stage, cause she's a good vocal arranger/singer. So maybe this book will reveal what it is that's held her career back.
^^^^^^^^^ I agree that Faith does sound alot like Karen Clark. She has always been so underrated to me! I saw her in concert a few years back and the girl definitely got skills. It is a shame that she never got the props that she deserved.
There is no wonder to what held her career back. She was addicted to cocaine. Remember when she board the plane with cocaine and was busted.
I don't know but unless Faith is coming with the TRUTH about her own situations, I ain't buying. She has had a series of stories that if she came clean about, people might respect her game a little more. I remember her from back in the day because she used to mess with a real young guy (a real cutie) around my way. He didn't have anything BUT looks and she was like sweating him and taking care of him. I felt 4 her because it is always crazy 2 see another sister playing herself.

I love Faith so I'm glad she is coming out with this book. I just hope its candid and I'd love to read her side of the story on certain issues(Tupac, Lil Kim,etc...). I also thought her last album was good so hopefully she is in the studio too.
Ugh your welcome is cool but pretty forgettable. Jay and Mary have never had that much chemistry to me.

We all know the Faith book is to make a buck. It will be interesting to see what trash is in it. Im sure there will be some truth and some not so true. But we all know she aint admitting to being hooked on no drugs. Although its obvious at least with the last album that she is/was.
