After recently releasing a statement saying "It is not my time to put out new music" and encouraging fans to check out Kelly, Michelle and Solange's work, Beyonce has sprung another leak.

The following bit ran in Cindy Adam's New York Post column today:

"MICHAEL Jackson, whose fortunes financially and theatrically have trickled down, was offered $35 mil. To some this is hardly decent money, but since he's in hock and bankrupt and borrowing and semibusted, the amount is not really an insult, right? The deal calls for him to re-emerge. In Person. And do his "Thriller" shtick. Not on video. In the flesh. If . . . he . . . can . . . A 10-night guaranteed gig. In London's Millennium Dome, which seats 20,000. Should it work, should he be a hit, should the thing go, should he be able to sustain the pressure, should he sell out, he'd get another 20 nights. Promoters are asking - is he broke enough to go back onstage live?"

BUT WILL HE DO IT??? I really wouldn't make any bets on this one.

It would be dope to see him do it again though.

  • To be honest, I'm really not interested in seeing Michael like that. I don't believe that he will be able to come back as strong a performer as he used to be. I think that he should just sell whatever he can to get some money and keep it movin

  • I am so sick and tired of dumb niggas believing everything that comes out of the mouths of these pathetic white trash in the media. Would you people think for once. The man owns half the Sony/ATV publishing empire thats worth close to $3 billion. He is part owner in two restaurants in california, he also has stake in 2 or 3 hotels and owns his own musical catalogue. Which has been sampled and re-made by almost everybody in the industry. not to mention thriller 25 has been doing well in sales for the past month and a half. staying in the top ten around the world since it came out. how in the hell is he going broke. think people. Stop being a victim to these manipulative ass white trash in this country. Michael is an african american who has reached levels in the industry that noone else has reached. Not to mention surpassed and gained control over most of these white so called artist. and their music. do you think these prejudice ass white people wanted that to happen. why do you think the bashing started after the thriller album came out. and everytime he comes out with an album or gets ready to release one they pop up with these so called bankrupt rumors. The same way they started making people believe mariah carey went crazy after she broke elvis's #1's record. the girl never had one bad thing said about her. until she started breaking those white artist records all of a sudden she has to be every negative thing in the book. Janet never had anything negative said about her until Justin ripped off her costume in that performance. now all of a sudden everybody has a problem with anything she does. and justin doesn't get an ounce of the bullshit she got. my point is. every black artist who gets to a certain level of success in this industry, gets targeted with malicious lies and rumours in order to turn people against them. or to make them seem less than what they are. Michael is an icon who has dedicated his life paving the way for all the black artist and every other young artist that came after him. Not to mention all that he has done to help people around the world. And all he gets in return are some ignorant niggas who don't know a damn thing about him talking trash and some dumb ass white folks trying to destroy his legacy. My question is why are these people in the media so obsessed with what does or doesn't happen with his money. why isn't anyone else getting their money focused on with the same amount of scrutiny? Why is his finances or what is suppose to be his finacial state, a headline news story. And why are these story's being wrtten now? the timing is interesting. all i have to say is people need to wake up.

  • All I gotta say is, my patna "Dee" said that! MJ's bread has never/will never/won't ever be a concern of his. Once a performer, always a performer. Folks smash Jigga about "needing to" sit his ass down at his age. But his age never was questioned when he was throwing up the rock like a young, and upcoming cat. The very moment his "financial" state became public; people had words to say. Same thing happened to Mike Tyson, and will happen to 50, Tiger, etc. All the above mentioned are too smart to fall flat(Mike Tyson mind you was/is crazy). I say, do ya thang MJ!

  • Since when is $35 MILLION DOLLARS considered "hardly decent money"?! wtf. I'll take 1/50th that amount and be more than satisfied, I'm sure Cindy Adams would be as well.

  • The media kills me. I don't even like MJ but I know dude will never be broke. He owns a catalog of song rights that stack high as the sky that will keep him paid until he's six feet under. If anyone knows anyting about business and laws know that he can file bankrupt on different business ventures that won't effect his personal income. I remember years ago when Donald Trump banckrupt a couple of his businesses and the media did the same "he's broke" thing. How did that turn out? Yeah, straight bullshit!

  • Actual fact: Mr. Jackson borrowed against that publishing rights he owns half of. In all honesty, japanese bankers..chances are he has had to hand that over at a reduced price. The fact he can't pay the money on Neverland is another fact, he is in debt to an arab family whom he has started a recording company with. He may yet have some money left but not enough money to hold onto things he once claimed as priorities. People act like if you go on million dollar shopping sprees eventually doesn't catch up to you when you are shopping. Keep a security team of forty guards, animals, maintenance staff, hangers on,family...shall i go on? Didn't something similar happen to a certain baggy pant rapper named mc hammer, at one twenty fifth the degree?

  • In addition, Michael is still the king...him performing at half what he used to be would be a total surprise and kind of impossible considering his age and years without rehearsing or performing. Good luck tho, we all were fans of his material at one point or another.

All they best do is politics and journalism thus making them great liars. They plant our people cases and the system favours white lawyers over black ones (coincident, is it?) they fetch from our sweats.People coming up should take the past as classes and learn a lesson. And guess who brought Janet Jackson problems-Justine Timberlake someone copying every single thing he does from Michael Jackson from voice to dancing styles. They can stop one but cant stop us all.

  • First of all kayser9soze..Michael didn't borrow against any of the publishing he owns. That was a tabloid rumour just like the rumor of a so called record company with his arabian friends. That lawsuit was brought on because of a breach of contract concerning a play that was suppose to be based on MJ's life. and they had other projects that Michael backed out of. thats why he was sued. he had nothing to do with debt. more about not keeping promises made. they are still friends acording to the prince of bahrain the person in which brung the suit. now as far as neverland is concerned yeah theres a problem there. but the media has definitley over exagerated the amount of money it takes to keep that ranch up, as well as over exaggerated the amount of money he spends on the few shopping sprees he goes on. He owns a number of different homes around the world. not just neverland. none of those homes are in any jeopardy. nor are their staff. whatever is going on with neverland will hopefully be straightened out by him.

and as for as his ability to perform, you know its funny how they keep throwing his age in this. yet madonna who is also 49 about to be 50 in the exact same month as michael which is August. doesn't get an ounce of this age thing thrown up in her face. hmm interesting. After all the lies, false alleations, and ridiculous rumours that have been spread about him of course he won't recapture the commercial success he once experienced. that doesn't mean he deserves to be counted out. he has always been and will continue to be a talented artist with nothing to prove. he should have the right to perform and record as long as he chooses. just as white artist like the rolling stones, paul mcCartney, madonna, and others from those generations have been allowed to.

  • @Dre. Ihear you! BUT! It would have more impact IF micheal thought he was BLack or African American Himself. His is an Icon but he has a lot of identity issues. Why would he dam near skin peal his color off- and then adopt 2 white children and perpatrate that those kidds actually came from his African American Slave blood circulated through his body denying A$$! Yeah Dre you are right but my man Micheal disappoints some! He is a legend though! Point well taken!

  • Good point Dee...The Madonna thing is right on! I never hear people say Madonna needs to sit her old ass down! Hell Johhny Cash was still doing his thing when he passed! Why are we hating on MJ? Invincible was actually a really good album! And good albums have been few and far between. So all this "OLD" crap needs to stop because that what these people were born to do! entertain and perform. AGE AINT NOTHING BUT A NUMBER!

  • well Crispin VernonVille's Hustla....I'm thinking maybe ignorant, tabloid junkies, such as yourself. Would be a disappointment to people like michael as well as the rest of us educated black americans in this country. Michael has never bleached or changed his skin to try and be white or anything else. Its not hard to educate yourself about the skin disorder.. vitiligo. Just talk to your local dermatologist. or just look it up. and you can find out how its contracted and what is involved with the treatment. As far as his plastic surgeries, thats his business. its his body to do what he damn well please he is not hurting anyone with those decisions but himself. i personally think he got the surgery because of self esteem issues that were brung on by the pressures of hollywood as well as people like you that attack and criticize every damn thing he does and says. that would make anyone self conscious. You can't look to artificial procedures like that to make yourself feel better on the inside that has to come from self love and self respect. but thats something he needs to work on. he doesn't need people constantly criticizing every mistake he makes. he is human. he is not perfect and neither are you.

And he didn't adopt any white children. whether some so called black americans want to believe it or not. Bi-racial children don't have to all come out looking black or one race. I can think of a few celebrities that are bi-racial that don't look like one of their parents. The few that comes to mind. People like lenny kravitz, who has a black mother and white father. he doesn't look white to me nor does he in my opinion share his fathers features. People like this rock guitarist named slash. who has a black mother and white father. but he doesn't look black. nor does he look like his mother. Halle Berry, has a white mother and black father. but in my opinion she doesn't look anything like her mom. never seen her dad so i wouldn't know. anyway those are a few examples. there are a ton of other people in this world that are bi-racial and don't share one of their if not both their parents features but they are biological families.

let me ask you a question, why would you take the word of a pack of so called journalist, that anybody with common sense can see doesn't have any direct contact or any kind of real access to michael or his family. over the man himself who's living the life?

I never seen Michael do anything to disrespect or hurt the black people in this country. so why all the hate from the so called african americans for him?

i think its time for us to stop tearing each other down and start building each other up. if you don't understand something about him educate yourself don't lower yourself to elementary school gossip tactics. my advice would be to grow up and stop judging a book by its cover.

  • I have been a MJ fan for 20 years, but im starting to wonder if he is even motivated to perform anymore. I mean he has already accompolished a lot in music. Plus with the problems he's having with his appearance,he might not feel as confident on stage as before.
