Akon Turned Out to be A Con But KeAnthony Is The Real Deal

So the internets going all crazy over Akon being exposed by the Smoking Gun for not being quite the Konvict he portrayed himself to be.
I personally could care less, dude did a couple months for car theft -- sounds like a criminal to me. Maybe not as much of a criminal as the leader of a multi-state car-jacking ring, but a criminal nonetheless -- plus he's proven his talent as a musician right? Hasn't he?
Or were you getting sick of his singsong anthems everywhere? I mean to me radio programming these days sucks regardless -- T-Pain and Akon are welcome to overrun the airwaves with their brand of irresistible one key anthems -- just makes for more comedic spoofs like this:
Anyway, Warner Brothers has a new artist with a real prison record. Nashville, TN native KeAnthony came up singing in his family's gospel ensemble The Gospel True Notes, but somewhere along the way he and his friends got into some trouble. KeAnthony's homeboy snitched on him, landing him behind bars for 8 years -- during which time KeAnthony came up with some of the material for his upcoming album A Hustaz Story. The album includes production from Tank, The Underdogs and Scott Storch among others.
KeAnthony will also be releasing a 20 minute mini movie starring singer / songwriter Tank, Michael K. Williams from The Wire and BET television personality, Alesha Renee to provide visuals for the soundtrack of his life.

I don't care about Akon or his criminal history. If it's not going to make him stop singing or being on everyone's song. Then why should I care ?
