The New York Post just published a story about the Jackson Family's financial troubles. Read It Here. Before the Janet stans go nuts -- know that the article states the Jackson sisters are still in good shape, particularly Janet.

Here's the lowdown on the Jackson family's financials as detailed by the NY Post:

Joseph Jackson, 79 and Katherine Jackson, 77- Dad hustles various girl groups in Las Vegas. Mom is still a stay-at-home housewife and the only family member in contact with Michael. Both have previously filed for bankruptcy

Tito Jackson, 55 - Formed a blues band several years ago and plays at small venues for $500 to $1,500 a gig.

Michael Jackson, 49 - On the verge of losing Neverland Ranch as well as the family's Encino, Calif., home. He's hiding out in Las Vegas and repeatedly makes promises to his brothers while sabotaging any attempts by them to ply their musical trade.

Randy Jackson, 46 - Does odd jobs like changing tires to support himself. He was Michael's business manager during the 2005 molestation trial but ran into serious problems with friends after he persuaded three people to take out lines of credits against their homes to help Michael pay his attorney fees and Michael stiffed them.

Marlon Jackson, 51 - Lives in San Diego, where he works stocking groceries at a Vons supermarket. He fell on hard times three years ago when he was forced to leave his foreclosed home and move into an Extended Stay America hotel with his wife, Carol.

Jackie Jackson, 56 - The oldest son started an Internet clothing business and is trying to produce records by his sons. Nothing has panned out.

Jermaine Jackson, 54 - Splits time between the parents' Hayvenhurst mansion and his girlfriend's home in the San Fernando Valley. With more than $5 million in federal, state and other liens against him and a 1995 bankruptcy filing, he doesn't work or have a regular income.

On a positive note, here's a flashback of better times

Hard times also appear to have hit the Hailey brothers K-Ci and Jo Jo, who recently performed in Tanzania

  • some people are delusional... kelly's cd was subpar, it was only ok, there was no need for a re-release especially since "daylight" has yet to gain momentum... kelly is done, time to start from scratch cuz no one is interested anymore.

And folks say Janet need to retire..she better keep making that money!

  • people getting all emotional. Why? Her albums never sold (both of them plus remixes) So why when get mad at us because the public has spoken. Too emotional, but that a cute characteristic for a woman. Remember when her tix was going for $5

  • Day26's album sounds pretty hot...I'm listening to it right now. Diddy certainly would not allow these guys to put out a half-assed album. Kelly's re-released album contains remixes of older songs and just three new ones. I will pass on that. It's so sad to see this ingenue fall prey into mediocrity that Matt Knowles and Beyonce has set her up in.

    JJ's my girl!

Can we please talk about why Can't B Good is the next single? Someone at Def Jam needs to get on it... I doubt that song does well.
Luv charted, and Rock With U didn't, so they went ahead and made the video for Rock With U.... makes a lot of sense to me.

  • Kelly needs to find the self confidence to step out of Beyonce's shadow and deliver a real hot cd. I did like a few cuts on her original cd but it just wasn't hard hitting enough to keep my interest. With the way music is these days....she is gonna have to either shit or get off the toilet.

    -------
I wanna see Day26 do well so I probably will buy their cd just to support them. I already heard the entire cd and definitely feel that the producers/production was kind of lame. R&B in general needs to be refreshed and upgraded immediately! But these dudes can sing and do sound good.

  • I bought Day 26. I knew it was hot garbage before I got it since MTV was kind enough to have the tracks on their site. Still I recognize that the project was rushed in order for Diddy to capitalize off of the free promotion that the show provided. The production was terrible and even the vocal arrangements were ameteurish. Still I hope the album is successful so that MAYBE Diddy will allow them to do another one. Now that I know there is not one good song on the CD there is no need for me to see their show.

  • I bought Day 26 today. Good vocals, good tracks, good project. Next time though, I would like to see a more updated version of R&B from them. It seems as if Diddy wanted to give listeners a throwback to the Jodeci, 112, Jagged Edge era of R&B. Nice enough (and welcome) effort, but I'd like to see them refresh thier direction.

I do hope Kelly does well, however I never bought her 1st album (I didn't know it came out) and don't expect to buy this one either. I also hate that she's practically resulted to getting naked to spark interest in her and/or her music. Hopefully she she'll see it's not working and put her clothes (and dignity) back on.

For all it's worth, Diddy can't be the only one accused of putting good talent on the backburner. Matthew is obviously doing it too. I just hope the public blasts him as much as they have Diddy for doing the same.

  • Janet got money plus JD got some fat pockets if worse come to worse...Michael owns the beatles music he is set (didnt american idol use beatles songs back to back, mike just got paid) plus hes bout to do 30 mill a show for his new album, the rest of them prolly broke and too old to do anything about it, they better start poppin out kids and exploiting the hell outta them, Kelly re-releasing a flop just to get to maybe 200K at most, idk why, day26 flop...kinda sad considering how well r&b has been doin
