Rih Rih is doing a Re-Release of Good Girl Gone Bad...
So far the only new track they've mentioned is the new single "Take A Bow,"
I think my ears might be bleeding... jokes, sorta
"Take A Bow" is written by Ne-Yo. What a no-brainer -- I love how Def Jam figures out a formula and works it to death.

The new version of Good Girl Gone Bad lands May 27th. I just can't wait. Can you feel my enthusiasm... yeah I figured.
On another note -- Day 26 has released a video for "Got Me Going"
I think it sucks. Sorry guys, just keeping it real. Willie is the only one of these guys who has any sex appeal -- the rest of them got that "bitchassness" stamped on 'em.

All the songs are just "okay," except for that Day 26 song, in my opinion. That's pretty much all I can say.

The Day26 video was good... its just the group and that song that I don't like. They all can sing but for some reason they don't connect. Maybe its song....Simon, Randy, and Paula aren't lying when they say that song choice can make or break you. I'm also over Diddy and the leather motorcycle jacket he's been rockin in every video since the 'I Need A Girl' video. Will someone find the guts to tell the fashion savvy Diddy that the look is played and its time to switch up.

Can we talk about how this song actually as a melody, a bridge, harmony and sharp vocal arrangemens AND these niggas can sing?! That in and of itself is a HUGE deal considering how wack most popular music is. That said, ole boy who was whinin has the best voice and he should sing more lead. His voice is flawless. But really all these cats are top-notch vocalists. They could be major if Puffy don't fuck it up.

Who said there was a rule that every member of a band had to be good looking? What boy band have you ever seen that was chock full of cuties? None, that's how many. The point is every last one of these guys can sing. I like the video, but am not crazy about the song although I must admit it's starting to grow on me a little. I'm looking for the album to have at least 5 songs I love. Anything less and I will be highly disappointed in Diddy.
I got the Day26 album and I like it a lot. It's out there on the filesharing sites. I was surprised to see it.

Ne Yo is overrated as a writter imo. I thought he would end up the next babyface or some ish, but he hasn't really delivered on a consistent basis. The only good song he did on Janet's album was rock with u. All the slow songs are practically garbage. And Janet always has at least one good slow song on an album.

The more I hear the Day26 track, the more it grows on me...they coulda left Diddys ass out the video though. As far as Rihanna, that song seems like a rejected Beyonce track.

Nothing is wrong with the Day26 song, its just not a hit. The vocals are tite and the song is good....but after being force fed bullshit r&b for sooo long, fans are looking for greatness. The songwriting and the production on this song just don't offer us that. I hope that the album has stronger material cause these guys are talented and really do deserve mega success.
Im a DJ so i checked out the album way ahead of time and it's really good, I think R&B fans will be really impressed. A couple of things I want to point out, first is the fellas who think R&B is for females, this cd has the ability to set the mood and help you amplify you swag that's already their. Next point I want to make is that the female's who listen to this album will also be able to "do that falling in love with singer" thing that they do. On a personal note the album is good but I didn't like the fact they really put Big Mike backseat on this album which is disappointing. But I digress

Co-sign Spaceage. THose dudes are really talented. The album decent but it's tuned to compete with the current trend of infusing R&B with electronica/dance music. But if they went against the grain and did a true R&B album that shit would be fire.
Day 26 will be superstars. If Dru Hill, 112, Jodeci, New Edition, and Jagged Edge could accomplish what they have, these guys are a can't miss. ALL FIVE CAN SING AT LEAD SINGER LEVEL!!! Songwriting/production is the only thing that can stop them and Diddy is smart enough to humble himself in front of TRUE songwriters for the paper. lol

Q is lead singer level? I guess if no one else could sing then that would be true. NE had 3 lead singers. Ralph, Bobby and Ricky. They never really used Ricky - Thank God for BBD. Ricky is the only solo album that didn't do well.
