Brilliant. I'm glad someone is still putting some thought into the product and not just dropping the first thing that pops into their head.

I really don't like the title of the album. It just doesn't really do anything for me. But MC has never really had the best album titles so I guess I shouldn't have expected anything different. The album should be hot though regardless.

I THINK ITS A GREAT TITLE. It's defintiely not predictable, its very creative for MC, probably her most creative title ever. I think that it's far more mature than rainbow, glitter, etc. What I think she is going to say is that the Energy or Empowerment (E), which she has talked about before, is Mariah Carey maximized, hence the squared part. It's like saying this is Mariah Carey times a lot more! Im really excited.

OMG! "Touch my Body" is like the spark that will ignite the fire that is to come, the song is catchy as hell, I have listened to it like 12 times now and it never gets old...you can tell mariah tried something different with her singing style on this track...no trademark high note, not so many coloraturas...I love it! go M.C. 2008!

Nobody feels threatened. I'm just stating the facts. Hell, I'm not getting a royalty check from Janet or Mariah. Mariah's new song sounds just like all of her old stuff. The only thing missing is a rapper spitting a verse, like all the other stuff she puts out.I'm telling it like it is. "Feedback" is a much better song. You can talk down on Janet's vocals all day, but Mariah isn't half of what she used to to be. I'm a fan of both, but I was expecting much more from MC. After hearing this, she definitely is not That Chick.

Well the truth is, this song isnt going to win any Nobel Peace prize or bring people together as one race, or heal starvation and HIV in Africa... Obviously. But C'mon, Mariah's funny as all He..
Shes still one of the most amazing voices out there and its a fun radio friendly track. She dose have a broad fan base and that mixed heritage thing that used to be a pain is now working for her, because she's not considered rap, yet a lot of R+B attention is what is making her burn up the charts as well as mainstream pop. She's just in a class that isn't clearly defined, and thats why shes so damn accesible. She doesn't try and break any new ground creatively (not really ... a little) but its always her staying current and trendy and the whole world buying in to her having her finger on the pulse of what is hot. Its kinda what I expected. I still route for her because she talks about gratitude to God more than any other pop artist I know, That IS really cool, and she is very non-traditional in that way.
