What janet needs is a hit single - something that can't be dismissed or overlooked. That's how you get back on the radio. Dance music like "Feedback" isn't really radio friendly - and I'm not sure I'd call this a dance track to begin with. Radio is all about pop/r&b/rap these days. Country is its own thing. Deciding to go "back to the clubs" is deciding to not have your stuff played on the radio. "Feedback" aint doing squat here in Chicago, even though I play it on the ride home sometimes. She needs to get back with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and get back to "her" sound instead of chasing these trends. It's been downhill creatively since the Velvet Rope, even though All For You was a hit album. I'm a fan, but she's 40 and still trying to do 20 something music. It was cool when she got all sexy and was exploring her sexuality on record, but she's been doing that since 1993's janet. She needs new material that's a bit more subject matter and age appropriate. Madonna faced that same sort of backlash a couple of times in her career, but she was constantly able to reinvent herself and stay somewhat relevant. Janet's still stuck in 1993 and lots of things have changed since then, but you wouldn't know it by her music."What About" was the last socially conscious track I heard from her and that was like 97/98. Feedback and the leaked tracks from yesterday can all be dismissed by radio. Janet's gotta have an "Umbrella", "Bed", "Be Without You", "Yeah!", "We Belong Together", "Irreplaceable" type of massive hit to get back on radio. Those were songs that, from the first time you heard them, you knew they were hits. So far, I haven't heard anything remotely close to that from her new material.

Don't like the remix! Never liked Ciara and Damn Janet can't catch a break it seems like the dust from the Superbowl will never settle. I am a fan for life and I loved the two new tracks especially LUV!!
