Chrisette Michele recently performed in Atlanta at the Luxe Lounge and brought the house down. Our boy Gyant down in the ATL captured some video use SOHH Soulcialites.

I have to admit, I like Chrisette's slow burn. I was clearing out my DVR the other day and saw her on Girlfriends. I didn't like her character but what I did like was her potential. Chrisette might be that chick to watch out for.

I think she got that throwback appeal vocally, the pure talent and dedication towards evolving her craft......


it's obvious she's a student of old-school Soul/Blues singers in a world where everyone new is a Mary J Blige spin-off.........


beauty and talent is always a plus in my book, i been a fan since she sung the hook on dat Nas track......
