We aren't sure if it was an error, if it was early info or if the impending strike will foil all intended plans... but someone very reliable just said Janet Jackson is performing at the Grammy's.
According to MTV Canada. who interviewed dancer, choreographer Blake McGrath, Janet is planning a Grammy performance... watch this video:
or go straight to the site using this link.
So far the official Grammy site isn't saying anything. Neither has JJ's camp. I assume it's because JJ might have wanted to see whether there would be a strike. Music is her life, but I am not sure how her being an actress might affect her performance. Everyone's different.
SOHH, can the stans go out and verify this. Thanks to Kevipod, I brought y'all as much info as possible.
And if you don't care about that... then you won't care about Ray J's new video featuring Yung Berg....
And since we can't mention Ray J without mentioning Brandy... Word on the Street is that she is signed with Epic... and B. Cox IS NO LONGER exec producer.

Man, i hope Janet performs at the Grammy's, Shes a legend and deserves more than anybody to open that DAMM show, im tired of all these people hatin on her and beyonce all the time, just cause there doing something positive, im really looking foward to Janet album, i think its gonna be a good look for her this time =)
I don't like the ideal of her crossing a picket line just to promote her album. What if ghostwriter went on strike. I bet she would right there making sure that ghostwriter get there due. Man is there anyone in the industry that has any moral. Just want to make money by all mean is not morally right. That is a sin. JJ should have better moral than crossing a picket line. Its only going to hurt ya sales.
It's fine for Janet to perform. The strikers are NOT going to picket the Grammys. It was announced last night.

Well thats cool...
Three things I'm loving at the moment:
1. I love Janet, not a big fan of the single...but I welcome any opportunity to see JJ move on stage. And since the writers won't strike at the Grammy's, she can make it happen...just don't Britney it janet.
2. I love the fact that B Cox is NOT exec producing B-Rocka's album. He's cool but too much of his work sounds the name...one or two tracks maybe...overseeing a whole album---NOPE! Brandy needs to hurry up and put that ish out.
3. I'm loving that fact that as I bump Van Hunt's new album "Popular"...none of this ish matters to me.
Janet performing would be hot i guess but I'ma need to see her dancing in some heels. I'm tired of her lookin all short, dancin wid them Klumps on her feet! All I care about is seeing Daughtry perform
@La'Shonda,
I'm with you on seeing Daughtry perform...That "It's Not Over" song is tight as hell. Dude's voice is crazy. He's blowing all those other A.I. contestants/winners out of the water.
THANKS. MY BAD I AM SLO ON THE INFO. BUT I AM GLAD TO HEAR THAT.
The Writers guild announced that they won't be picketting the grammys.
I WISH BRANDY WAS PERFORMING AT THE GRAMMYS.

To all up and coming artist much success and dont be afraid to put that extra grind in and go Independent!! It's a new era... Everything resides on the Internet even Hiphop! Dont sleep on The Move ment!!Wake up
I'm not believing anything until it comes directly from Brocka's camp.......but like someone said earlier I don't know about b.cox doing the whole album.....I mean...right...he could do a song or 2 but I don't know about executive producing the whole album.....Brandy knows what's best 4 her so I know @ the end of the day she'll make the right decision and have another Classic album.........we miss u BROCKA and are patiently awaiting the return!!!!!
ray j? at least he has his clothes on in this video.

HOORAY FOR BRANDY - NONE OF THAT B COX CRAP!!
I'm so glad those writers decide they won't picket the Grammy. I guess they learned it really has nothing to do with them.
If Janet performs I'll be looking forward to it as well as Beyonce and Tina Turner duet. I may watch Rihanna but it depends on what she is performing. Mary J. Blige I believe is suppose to perform twice! The Show is going to be hott!
All Janet will be doing is repeating the dance from the video while liping the EXACT track from her album. So i will be turning that mess off. Not looking forward for Beyonce's performance either, she's predictable as well. Beyonce stans can jump on me if they'd like but I wont care. MOVING ON...Looking forward to Rihanna's performance even though I know the singing wont be on point. Just not looking forward 2 the grammys at all.
And who cares about Ray J's nasty ass??? But I do however hope Brandy is no longer claiming him and I hope her album comes out soon.
