Mario just dropped the long awaited GO on this past Tuesday.
But something is up. With his CD being on sale for only a few days, Mario is already talking up a new cd by back-to-school time.
"You can imagine how many different concepts and things I had," the 21-year-old says to Billboard. "But there's really even more than that, 'cause I'm gonna start recording, like, [at] the end of January." [Read more here.]

Is it that the peeps over at J Records aren't supporting this CD? Does this have anything to do with all the delays Go experienced?

What the hell is going on over there that he has wasted so much time and money that a new CD is already worth speaking on?
It's apparent that a lack of promotion (read: funding) is what caused many of the "push backs" of this album in the first place; so I'm sure he put out an album of mediocre songs so that he could simply get it out of the way.
Maybe he had one more album left on his contract and this is a way for him to jump ship to a company that will actually PROMOTE a young black man whose not doing trying to be Micheal Jackson and Usher.
I'm not a big Mario fan, BUT - there aren't many guys out there right now who are doing what he's doing musically and style wise. Sophisticated, youthful R&B is far and few between.

@ miss pearl im tired of people blaming it on promotion...how can you promote a wack cd...mario is wack and will always be wack...you could promote the hell out that cd it still will be wack...mario is another cry baby R&B artist just like Bryan Mcnight, Tank and the other fags that fit the category...im not hatin im just not a fan of grown men crying all over a cd...i wish him nothing but success on this new cd tho..
Of course he needs another album. Half of the song off the album where available all over the internet MONTHS before the album dropped.No need to say that the songs that were not leaking are the wackest...
