Jermaine Dupri Reunites The Jacksons

According to multiple published reports, the Jackson 5 were set to appear at Jermaine Dupri's J5-themed New Year's Eve bash at the multiplatinum producer's Studio 78 nightclub in Atlanta.

" 'Jermaine Dupri and Friends' is a Jackson 5 celebration," he explained, "meaning music is in the air and lots of J5 loving everywhere. [But] if you're coming to stargaze and not party, don't come."

Does that mean that Michael pulled out of this whole thing?

The NY Post is reporting that J.D. didn't want Janet to participate because he didn't want any of Michael's so-called bad press to rub off on her.

When J.D. got with Janet I never thought he'd get tangled up in the Jackson family antics.

But while you chew on that... we're laughing at how El DeBarge shows up outta no where to speak with AHH of all places about Janet Jackson and James DeBarge's mystery baby.

Well, you know it has been in the media for a long time. It has been a whisper and a “hush, hush” kind of thing. “I wonder if there’s a baby.” I’ve never seen this child. I’ve yet to see it. It’s something we don’t talk about whenever we see Janet. We don’t speak about it. My brother Janet and James â€" that info is privy to them. We just, you know, they’ll let us know when they’re ready to talk about it. We just respect it. [laughs]
